I recommend these pants
I am very pear shaped, so the men's FR pants my company supplied weren't working for me. I've tried both these and the denim style and they work a lot better.

I like these a lot better than the denim variety. My only complaint is that there is a snap instead of a button at the waist. These gap a lot less in the back than the denim and they look a lot better too.

I would recommend ordering a size up. I usually wear a size 16 and the 18's are a bit snug on me.

Great jean to wear in hot weather
I have found these canvas jeans to be a lot more comfortable to wear in the summer months than denim jeans. They tend to dry out quicker too, whether it be from sweating or wet from rain. Before purchasing the canvas jeans I had always worn the denim Carhartt Dungaree jeans. The only problem I found was in how the two different types of jeans fit. I had to go up two sizes in the canvas jeans. For example, I wear a size 6 in the denim Carhartt Dungarees, whereas, I have to wear a size 10 in the Carhartt canvas jeans

No longer fit for curves
I originally bought these in 2014, and they fit great. When I tried to buy new pants last year, the fit had totally changed. They were about a size bigger overall, and much larger in the waist. Plus all the pockets were smaller and shallower. The tiny back pockets are spaced very widely, which is not flattering. A year later, the original pants are wearing through, and my company's uniform vendor doesn't even carry women's Carhartt pants anymore. I'm going to try to get the men's pants altered, because the durability of my old pairs was actually very good -- three years washed weekly. At least the men's pants have usable pockets. (But now only five belt loops?)

Sizing info: I have a 27" waist and 38" hips. The 6 (which I never returned, but never wore) fits in the hips but is 2-3" too big at the waist. The 4 was snug in the hips and still a little too big at the waist.

Good quality
They are a good quality pant. A bit to relaxed for a smaller woman that does not need the extra room in the seat and legs.

Overall great work pantsThe only downside is that the knees need to be reinforced. Right now I'm taking my old jeans in to the tailor to repair the knees on my newer jeans.
They look really good, fit comfortably, and the pockets haven't worn through and I put my tools in them every day.

The only downside is that the knees need to be reinforced. Right now I'm taking my old jeans in to the tailor to repair the knees on my newer jeans.

Best FR Pants
These are by far the most comfortable FR pants that I've found thus far, I've tried other Carhartt and Wrangler FR jeans and none are near as comfortable. That being said, I have several issues with these pants. My biggest complaint is that the inseam options are terrible, I purchased a size 2 with the only option being 32" or shorter. I'm 5'9" so when I sit down these pants look like high waters. When standing with boots they're only marginally acceptable. Carhartt needs to offer more inseam options for every size. My other qualm is that the sizes are not small enough, I fit into a traditional size 2 and the Carhartt size 2 is way too large in the waist. The pants, while comfortable, are also not flattering in the slightest. I do not have a backside in these pants at all. I would recommend these pants to others but only because they are very comfortable, not because they look good or fit well.

Way to big at the bottom. Women have hips!
It was a snug fit up top and way too big at the bottom. Carhartt needs to know that women have hips! They cut them like men's jeans. It did not look right at all.

The main side pockets are a joke, and it's more important than people think
...and it was a dealbreaker. The material is great - I had been looking for work pants with minimal stretch (enough with the Spandex/elastane - not everyone wants stretch pants!) and I thought I'd found the perfect pair. But the pockets are way too small for work pants. Make them deeper! Why don't clothing manufacturers get that women like deep pants pockets, too? I could barely stuff my ordinary velcro wallet into a pocket. My whole hand doesn't even fit in it, and I am not a big person! Cell phones are big these days, and when we're out in the field, we're not carrying purses. The other pockets are fine for less important items, but they bump up against furniture and anything that contacts the legs. We need our wallets and phones within easy hand's reach. Manufacturers use material to create more pockets when they could just make the main side pockets larger. Do it, Carhartt, and millions of women will thank you for it.

Wonderful FR pants for a woman
These are my favorite pants. I'm required to wear FR daily and appreciate the functional features. It is great having pants that are snug where they need to be and loose in the right areas to avoid restricting movement. They are very durable - not to the level of a heavy jean material, but still very durable. Nothing on them has fallen apart over heavy use including the seams, hammer loops and Klein's pockets. The rise is appropriate for work - I want my belt and any tools to be carried right above my hips, not on or below. I hope this style will continue for many years (or at least until I retire :)

Perfect work pants!
These pants are my favorite by far! They run true to size. (I am 145lbs and got a size 6.) I am 5'7'' and got a short in length and they are perfect. Comfortable, easy to move in.

Comfy, but run small
This is the second time I've bought these pants. They are comfy and lighter than the jeans, but they do run small. Both times I've had to order one size larger than I do with the jeans (one size larger than my normal pant size). They are also a bit more roomy/baggy than the jeans in the legs. I like the extra utility pockets on the sides.

Old Man Jeans
These jeans fit horribly! The hip fit is fine, but the waist is large and rise is high, which makes the waistband hit my ribcage, only to be cinched down with a belt so they don't fall off, so I look like an old man wearing pants that are too big. Sizing down doesn't help, either, and neither does trying the Original-Fit Rugged Flex Jeans - one has to have the dimensions of a model to wear those. Unfortunately, Carhartt is the only manufacturer of women's FRC that seem to understand that pockets are needed for pens, knife, phone, radio, etc., rather than just making some jeans that are FRC. Carhartt, please re-design these jeans to the 2008-2009 version!

Too small if you have hips
Really disappointed in the sizing of these. I have to wear FR pants for field work and they have to be 2112 and these are the only ones that they make for women. I normally wear a size 8 in jeans but I sized up to a 10 so I would have more room and they are uncomfortably tight on my hips but very loose at the waist. For women with hips, these are really uncomfortable. I don’t think sizing up to a 12 would work because the legs and waist would be too baggy.

They run small had to send first ones back and re order. There is a gap in the waist with larger size. But over all I can live with it
