fantastic
I love this hat! It fits perfectly and is incredibly comfortable. I have it in multiple colors, but I have to agree with the reviewer below that it would be great if they produced this hat in white for low visibility in the snow. I'd be the first to purchase it in white!

the Beanie
I was very happy to receive the beanie, it shipped very fast. I cannot think of one bad thing about the beanie to say. Fully functional, keeps my head warm on the cold mornings and is comfortable enough to wear all day. Thanks carhartt!

Great quality hat
I purchased this hat for my boyfriend, as his last one was quite old and worn out. He just loved his old one and wore it all the time.
The quality of the hat is wonderful; it's very thick and well made. My boyfriend said that it seems like a slightly different material than his old hat. It's also pretty tight on him, but I think that's mainly because the old one is stretched out from so much use.
The price of the hat was very reasonable, with free shipping, which is always a plus. The website is well organized and easy to find what you're looking for and the buying process was quick and easy. The hat arrived exactly when expected. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase.

It's just that warm
No frills, No glamor, just old fashion warmth. Not itchy or uncomfortable. just a warm head on a cold day. Perfect compliment to your warmest coat. Let the snow swirl and the wind blow. Your head and ears will think they are in Florida in June.

I just recieved 2 of these today in 2 different colors. The hats hold up, however I am extremely disappointed in the quality i saw today. The carhartt logo on the front is crooked on both hats. It looks like some worker or machine in china just put it on and didnt even make it look correct. Its a work hat for me, but I am supprised to see this from carhartt. QUALITY CONTROL?

Some employees are color blind
I ordered a Dark Green. Received a Brown.

The label says "DGR", but its an obvious Dark BRown.

Carhartt "technically" sent me what I asked for, but at the same time they didn't. Maybe some logistical problem?

Great Hat
This beautiful hat replaced my OLD beat up Carhartt of almost 10 years. Unfortunately, I wore this new one for about 3 days and then misplaced it, lost it, or it got thrown into the recycle, Really ticked me off. I think I will wait until next fall to order the replacement......less chance of losing it. I have NEVER lost a hat in my life ...til now!
Maybe I should order two. I wanted RED but it was out of stock..I got the grey and it was really a nice color...very neutral

Do yourself a favor, and buy one.
I found one of these hats in an old locker at work. I asked my coworkers who it belonged to, and no one said it was theirs. It was covered in dust, and looked aweful. It smelled bad too. I needed a hat, so I figured I would wash it, and see if it cleaned up well. It did, and it soon became my favorite hat that did it’s job well. I wore it everyday for two winters until I lost it. I have no idea where the thing went, but I’m here buying another because it’s totoally worth the 13 bucks, especially since the first one was free.

Best beanie ever! Currently have 4 different watch caps in different colors. They are perfect for Colorado winters, weather you're ice fishing, skiing or just enjoying a gorgeous day outside. I've washed mine several times and hold their shape well.

First impressions
I found one of these in a parking lot when I was in college out in north east PA. If your from there you know it can get cold. I looked around for an owner but didn’t see anyone so I gave it a head to keep warm. It was the first Carharrt thing I ever owned and turned me on to the company that makes durable and affordable gear. That hat lasted a number of winters after and I loved it. Naturally it got old, stained, and beat up but I look forward to getting a new one soon. It was a bit snug at first but broke in over time. I highly recommend it.

Great For Work

Very Comfortable and Warm !
I found this watch cap to be warm and comfortable. It's seems a little softer than the older Carhartt watch cap I have although, both are very comfortable and warm. I purchased the Sandstone color this time. My older one is the traditional Carhartt color. Yes, I would definitely recommend this item. And, BTW, it gets cold here in NC, also.

Carhartt quality is always the best, so this purchase was no different. This is the first time I ordered online from Carhartt, and I was not disappointed. Acrylic watch hat
I have been wearing these hats for years; in fact, the first Carhartt product I ever bought was an acrylic watch hat. I've lost several of them, but have never ruined or worn one out. These hats are far superior to any other knit hat; they are very warm, comfortable, durable, and nice looking. Other hats make me itch; not this one! Other hats snag and the yarn pulls out; not this one! Other hats let the wind blow right through; not this one! Other hats get stretched out and won't stay on your head; not this one! This is the ideal cold weather hat and it goes great with a Carhartt jacket or hooded sweatshirt, and it even comes in all the same colors. I like the simple, classic styling, too; no silly braids or pom-poms or yarn mohawks, just a Carhartt tag on the front. Once again, well done, Carhartt!

The best!

Great, but ITCHY!

Worth the price

I've owned 6 of these
I've owned 6 of these hats in multiple colors. They're wicked warm and wicked comfortable. I wear them from September until May every year. The only wear issues I get are at the crown seam, but only from heavy heavy use.

Great hat. Colors don't fade. Hand wash only.

Top of the line work hat
I got this hat as a gift and wore it all last winter and I got a job at a local ski resort in north Vermont and my first two weeks were the coldest. -25 air temps with -35 wind chill and this kept my huge head warm the whole time. Will pay for colors next winter.

Great buy
I've purchased many 'beanies' in my day. Living most of my life in warmer weather areas (California, Texas) it didn't really matter how thick the beanie was or the quality. It looked good and was warm enough. But moving to Minnesota, where the cold is actually really cold, those other beanies couldn't cut it. I stopped into my local Carhartt store and picked on of these up. Fits great, simple look, and most importantly keeps my head warm. Sometimes when I'm out hiking round with the dogs my head gets to warm. Great product and definitely will buy in the future when this one gets worn out.

Warm tight knit stocking hat

I've owned many throughout the years, and have never had to buy because it's been worn out, but because I either lose it or someone steals it. It's warm and comfortable with a ton of great color options. My wife keeps stealing mine so I bought her two.

Decent hat

These beanies make great stocking stuffers for the holidays!!!

Excellent Purchase
I bought this hat shortly after Christmas with some of my cash gifts. It is a very warm hat and dries quickly on the radiators in my home. I would deffinately reccomend this hat to everybody looking for a warm winter hat.

This hat is awesome.

Great Hat
This is the best hat ever. When it gets cold this hat comes out. I have this hat in navy and carhartt brown which is my favorite color. The navy one is 6 yrs old and hat finally shown some wear so I bought a new one. I do plan on getting more and different colors and getting my dad some for when hes working outside. I do wear this hat everywhere cause its basic and looks good all day everyday.

Essential winter gear
There are many options out there when it comes to the basic watch cap and Carhatt's is by far the best one I have owned. Not only is it warm as can be but it also retains it's shape unlike the bargain ones you see everywhere.

Awesome hat!

Size seems to be getting smaller.
I’m usually rather skeptical about One-Size-Fits-All headwear as I need a large size. For years I have been purchasing nothing but Carhartt Watch Caps for work, one or two every winter, they’ve been my go-to for keeping warm and comfortable. In the last couple years these Watch Caps seem to be getting tight, not nearly as comfortable. I just ordered a couple new caps, if these don’t fit properly I’ll shop around next year.

Poor Stitching. Unraveled after 1 year
LOVED this hat and wanted it to be my "old reliable" like some of the other reviews have claimed. But after only 1 season, the stitching unraveled at the top and created a good size hole. I was shocked! Never thought i would see a Carhartt product fail like this.

Nice Winter Hat
I use this hat in the winter up here in northern Connecticut. This is a great hat to wear when you are plowing or snowblowing. I wear it over my Ford cap and the tandem is unstoppable. The brim of the cap keeps the snow from getting on my eyes and face and the hat keeps my head warm and my cap dry.

Helped in a pinch
This hat helped me out during some repair work just south of Chicago. Traveled from PA and when I got there it was about 38 degrees with 30 MPH winds. I had a coat and gloves, but no hat. So I went to the local hardware store to find this hat. It stayed snug on my head all 3 days I was there and kept my head plenty warm.

Best winter beanie
I’ve seen a lot of my colleagues wearing these beanies throughout the fall and winter seasons over the past couple years and noticed pretty much everyone has one so I figured I’d try it out and see what all the hype was about. Not only do they look good on everyone the quality is amazing. The material is soft and not scratchy like most beanies that make your head itchy after awhile. The beanie is also stretchy so the size fits any size of head. Overall a great basic beanie for the cold weather!

Great beanie! Own about 5 of these in different colors. I wear one everyday isn’t the winter months. Fits very well with accompanying a carhartt jacket or hoodie. I even wear one under my hard hat. I recommend washing it every 5-7 days because it will stretch out from wearing it everyday like I do. Which will start to slide up on your head. Very comfortable and durable material.

Spot on, minus the navy colour option.
Chose 4 different colours and all but one were identical to the appearance on the screen. The navy blue showed up a tad bit purple, but nothing to whine about as they are work hats and comfort/warmth should be your main concerns on site. Would recommend to anyone needing a warm hat for winters.

Best Winter/Beanie Hat I've Owned
This is easily one of the best winter hats that I've owned. I have a few Carhartt Watch Hats and by far these are the warmest and comfortable hats. The quality is A1 for an all purpose all utility hat. I wear then seasonally everywhere and with all styles. I have a nice number of Watch Hats to match a variety of clothes. These hats are so warm that I can go without wearing a coat when cold in most situations. Purchasing the Watch Hat is a no brainer.

I've owned a lot of these hats
I've probably owned more of these hats than I could count over the last 20 years. At first, it was just the Carhartt Duck Brown color...then plenty of others over the years. I've used the Blaze Orange for hunting as well.

I've never had any negative issues with them. The color holds up well to many washings and the stitching is always excellent. The quality has always been consistent!

My 3rd one.
These are the best toques. It regularly gets to -22F here and I couldn't be without them. Lots of extra material to pull down over your ears on a cold day. I've washed them lots as well and they come out pretty good if you don't accidentally put them in the dryer!

Easily the best knitted hat that I wear in those below 20 weather

This hat works very well, keeping me warm! On those really cold days when just a normal hat fails to perform, this hat steps in and wins! The o lot bummer is that the bottom folds up a little to high, and the hat sometimes wiggles itself up, exposing my ears

Love!
I bought two hats (one for me and the other for my husband) and i can’t get over how much I love it. I spent three hours outside clearing snow in -28*C and I’m thoroughly impressed with how well it kept me warm and dry. It also stayed in place perfectly. It doesn’t hurt either that Carhartt has a great selection in hats. I will definitely be buying from them again.

Good, warm, comfortable hat that accommodates most all head sizes with the adjustable cuff. It's also offered in enough colors to match about anything you could wear. It's a great hat, only second to the wetzel hat in extreme cold and wind.

The best thing for my skull.
It's the perfect hat for winter or colder spring/fall weather. Soft fabric never itches during extended wear. It's the right length; when the wind picks up I can pull it low over my brow and down the back of my neck. I've owned one for three years and recently bought three more in different colors. I'll always trust and wear Carhartt gear.

My Go To warm hat
I have several of these most have been used over the years, not one has a hole or snag or has lost elasticity. I wear the A205 on warmer days (most days) and an A277 on the coldest.
I have several of these stashed in vehicles and my Go Bag so when the weather gets cold I'm always ready.

Warm, Simple, and Comfortable
This hat is warm, very comfortable, and simple yet stylish. What more do you need in a winter hat? I have a pretty big melon of a head (hat size 7 5/8 or more, depending on how long it's been since a hair cut!) and it fits very comfortably with room to spare. It doesn't get stretched out and retain a memory shape and it keeps its thickness/fluffiness like the day I brought it home from the store...and I keep it folded and tucked in my winter coat all year long when not wearing it.

best beanie iv had

Best Gift Ever
The hat is amazing. It keeps my head real warm. I like the appearance, very comfortable, Best quality hat and great fit. I recived this hat as a Christmas gift. Now I am going to buy a Carhartt Jacket. Carhartt is number one on my list.

Warmest Hat I Own
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS HAT!!!! I use this hat when i am out working or even when i am hunting. This hat will always keep me warm. Not to mention the price is really affordable, a little cheaper than most of carhartt products.

Carhartt quality, fit, and looks at a great price!
It's very warm, durable, looks great, and fits great! Most of the time I have an issue with these fitting my head and covering my ears, but this fits perfect! It also stays put on my head and over my ears without being too tight. For the price it's definitely a great value! I really like the color too! (Coal Heather) I would highly recommend this product!

These watch-caps are humongous.
These iconic watch caps are sold as one size fits all. Folded, in it's default position, it is massive. It can cover my entire head. What is all of this extra fabric for? This should be sold as an XL. The youth size seems to be a medium, actual "one size fits all".

The Best
I own this hat for about 4 years now and it's been introduced to very hard conditions everyday and it has proved it's durability,color still the same and the elasticlty as well,I work in construction and I'm very surprised that it lasted this long.
