THEY ALL LOVED THEM!!!
my husband passed away this year and so my grandson who is 22 and all his friends have been sooo helpful to me here at home. they have done so much outside with the lawn and clean-up, cutting wood etc. i live on 11 acres, mostly woods. i needed to do something for them so i turned to carhartt. they absolutley love these shirts. they are the mid-weight but are just right, not too bulking for working in, yet they stay toasty warm. and i also bought some boots. my grandson said that the boots are even more comfortable than the timberland that i always bought. thank you to carhartt for making my christmas shopping so easy at a very difficult time.

Just right hoodie.
I've found that the heavyweight stuff is too warm for me. Midweight feels good on, I move easily in it. The only problem is it fits kinda big.

Not what they use to be.
It's been a few years since I last purchased a hoodie/sweatshirt and the quality has definatly changed. The waste band is loose and it fits like one you would buy at a swap meet. It's just not up to carhartts old standards very disappointed.

Work sweater - warm, good quality
Fits large, but would not go down a size. Good for layering.

Some finish looks more faded than others, but still good quality and holds colour upon washing.

Extremely warm. Our crew wear all winter and shoulder seasons to work (home building central ontario)

We get sweaters screen printed with our logo and they hold this finish well.

We were upset they got rid on the real tree printed hood. Our crew really enjoyed that.

Best hoodie
I purchased six hoodies from Carhartt for our technicians because of the quality, durability and comfort. I tried two other brands, but both lacked considerably in quality. The technicians have indicated I spoiled them as they will now only buy Carhartt personally.

Ultimate Hoodie
True to size, but generously sized. Many hoodies run short. This is a longer hoodie. Very comfortable. In my off hours this winter, it's my go-to top. Well done.

I had bought this for my girlfriend, she use to have one just like it a few years ago and lost it, and sadly they don't make the same ones anymore. Once i presented it to her, she loved it! Said it was almost exactly the same!

Brewing Hoodie
Purchased this hoodie at a brewery, the large fits great. I wear a large in most sweatshirts so I would say it is perfect size if you like a little room, a medium would have been fine but a bit snug. I am about 5'10 180lb if that helps anyone. Overall hoodie is great for outdoors, very warm for the weight, and I receive many compliments on it.

Mid weight pullover hooded sweatshirt
I recently bought two of these sweatshirts, one in charcoal heather and one in navy blue, and I really like them a lot. They fit perfectly and are warm and soft. They did not shrink or fade after I washed them. The three-piece hood fits my head well and has a nice rounded shape, unlike a cheap hoodie that comes to a point on top. My only complaint is that the hood is not lined and leaves lint in my hair. I have a tight buzz cut and lint sticks to it like Velcro. Another reviewer also commented about lint sticking to his shaved head. A few launderings should minimize that problem. Also, on the gray sweatshirt, the fabric is a lighter color on the inside and you can see it when the hood is down. The navy blue does not have that problem. So, my only suggestion for improving this hoodie is to add a jersey lining to the hood to improve the appearance and keep lint off my head. Other than that, it's a great product.

Recommended, very comfortable and the large tall is perfect. (Large is a little short on me). Only reason I took one star off is because there was a large amount of blue lint everywhere on the sweater, like loose pieces of the fabric inside and out.

Love these hoodies!
Not only do these hoodies give you enough room to layer when it’s cold out, they also are cozy within themselves. I buy these regularly, for camping, working in construction, or just around the house. They are comfortable, tough when working, and just an overall great hoodie. Last a long time! Worth it.

Needs more cotton
Love the color, love the fit, but I wish it had a higher cotton content. It's not nearly as soft as I'd like it to be.

I'm 6'4, 220 and ordered a large. Sleeve length and body length is good. An XL would have been too big in the body.

Hooded carhartt sweatshirts are the greatest. I ordered 4, for gifts. They are long lasting, comfortable and comes in so many colors. I then ordered another for my husband, he felt left out, lol. All carhartt clothing is made well, men’s, woman and children sizes, can buy for the whole family, it will last a long time. Love all our carhartt coats, jackets, sweatshirts, hats, coveralls, they have something for everyone, even warm, soft socks. Couldn’t be happier, have bought this brand for over 25 years, and will continue to. Thanks

Wish they would have bigger sizes available :(
I purchased this sweater for my boyfriend. I was hoping the 4xl would be a good fit but sadly it didn't work out. If only Carhartt had one size bigger. Also the black wasn't a true black color, it looked more like a washed faded black. The pocket tee shirt was true black. Not looking forward to the return processes.

I'm a huge fan of carhartt, and was super stoked about this hoodie! It came and I noticed it runs a little big and I should've gotten a size smaller, also there was a hole in the sleeve when I got it, which I had to sew up. Love the beanies!

Hoodie for my 2XL sized teenage son
This hoodie is exactly what I expected when ordering from the website and even better. The fabric and manufacturing quality is above average. Also, the ease of ordering was a snap. I even accidentally double ordered (because I was shopping several other websites at the same time) and Carhartt helped me with that, thru live chat, and the correction was very simple. Order shipping and delivery was quick. I did not have to wait days for delivery. I will probably be ordering from Carhartt again, most definitely!

Love it
I love the sweatshirt. I've been looking for one for about 6 weeks. I had originally ordered a different on but it was sold out. I forget the style but it didn't have a hood but it sounded perfect. This sweatshirt is great but it is a bit bigger than I anticipated, I were XL in everything but this one is a bit bigger. I ordered another and am waiting for it's arrival. Love your product.

More than a pullover
Carhartt pullovers are probably the best investment I have ever made. The lining in them makes them very warm, even on the coldest days. I have bought my boyfriend the same sweatshirt in 3 colors already because he somehow coordinates it into his everyday wardrobe. I would recommend this shirt to anyone who is a hoodie lover and finds themselves in a sweatshirt rather than a coat. This shirt is very moveable i9f you are out doing yard work or in the garage working on the car. Excellemt product!

A great outer garment
As a police firearms instructor I am required to wear red on the range. This hooded sweatshirt in red is excellant for those days when it's a little cold outside. The garment is very warm and put together very well.

Warmest sweatshirt on the market
This sweat is the thickest sweatshirt I have owned. I can wear the sweatshirt in the middle of the winter when it is below freezing in New England, and still be plenty warm. I have had the sweatshirt for over 2 years now. Still just as warm as the day I bought it.

Not what they used to be
Carhartt mid weight sweatshirts are not what they used to be. They are either too short or too long. I am 6'1, I use to be able to order standard length and not have an issue with fitment. For the last 2 years standard length was either too short or just on the boarder of too short. Depending on the country that made the sweatshirt played a big role in fitment as well. I got tired. I got tired of spending money on sweatshirts that were too short, so this year I ordered long length and they are way too long. Website says long length is 2 inches longer then standard. I would say they are at least 4 inches too long in length. It is disappointing to spend this amount of money for a hoodie that is either to short, or too long. Carhartt was always my go to for hoodies but not anymore.

the gauge of material especially in Heather Grey is really a winning deal

I really like this sweatshirt. It looks just right, without excess decoration, logos, etc. Fit is just as I anticipated. Fabric appears good quality and should be long lasting, although I haven't had it long enough to really speak to the durability

Bought 2 hoodies; one this style in heather Grey and the other black signature logo hoody. I was so excited when this came in the mail today! Felt like a little kid opening presents. I tried it on and immediately felt comfortable. The construction of the hoodie was the best thing I have tried even though it was midweight (other hoodies I've tried were flimsy and thin). The front kangaroo hand-warmers are huge and a plus in my books (enough room to keep my hands AND arms warm). The rib cuffs and waist bands are amazing - keeps cold out like it suppose to do (hope they don't change that). The only drawback is size Small feels like a Large, if not, Extra Large, on my body. I'm only 5'11" and weigh 150lbs with an athletic/slim build; and I hope they make like an Extra-Small (in this style) for us slim people. The 2nd drawback is that, since I'm a bald guy, the fluffy lining on the inside hood gets caught on my head and I end up with fluff on my bald head - would like to see Carhartt add the same materials they used on the exterior, in the hood and possibly on the inside. Overall, I'm giving this and 4 star and fit a 3 star only because small feels like a large/extra large. I'm going to return this and keep my Signature Logo Hoody (size Small and the fit is phenomenal) and hopefully they make an extra-Small for the slimmer guys. Other then that, Carhartt is the best brand ever!

Awesome hoodie at a great price
This is the perfect hoodie for working outside in the summer and fall or for leisure time. It's light enough to wear on cooler summer days, but warm enough with the fleece lining for cool fall evenings.

Best Sweatshirt You'll Ever Wear
This is my second time purchasing this sweater, as I lost my first one somehow. It's my favorite to wear, and is perfect for both comfortable style and for work. Midweight is perfect weight for your average chilly day, or as an under layer for the freezing-cold, below-zero days. This sweater has room where it counts (torso, arms) and is perfectly snug around the wrists and waist as to not let in the cold air. Huge front pocket is great for carrying almost anything or warming large hands with or without gloves on. I am also particularly happy with the drawstrings on the hood, since they are shorter and less likely to blow in your face on windy days. I highly recommend this sweater.

Best work clothes
I have had many outside jobs doing everything from loading lumber in trucks at the hardware store to shoveling snow in the winter. I've had lots of carhartt clothing and I have never had any problems with the durability of the clothing and am very impressed with the hoodie I have bought.

My favorite sweatshirt by far! I have 4 of these hoodies and come back every year to snag one! The big and tall sizes are a perfect fit. Long sleeves and torso without being too wide! If u are tall and lanky with long arms the" long" sizes will fit u perfect. They are plenty warm...don't be fooled by midweight description....this thing is perfect for outside work during fall and winter seasons! Buy one....u wont be disappointed!

Shoddy drawstrings
The midweight hoodie has shabby drawstrings. They're thin, weak, and break and fray upon looking at them.

The heavyweight hoodie is excellent all around.

Give the midweight the same drawstrings as the heavyweight, and I'll buy several of them.

I purchased a carhartt sweatshirt a couple months ago for my boyfriend and he loved it. When his birthday came around I knew he would love another carhartt sweatshirt. runs very big. i usually wear a large, especially since i often layer flannels and raincoats, but it felt like i was wearing an XL. ad a faint vinegar smell that hasnt washed out after a few washes. its still comfortable, just not for regular wear.

dawn to midnight wear
I pull this on over a short or long sleeved t shirt, head outside to walk the dog at 4am. Hood goes up if cold, windy or raining. For serious cold, I wear a woven hunting hood /mask under the hoodie. Combination of two hoods always keeps me warm and comfortable. I keep a bandana and small flashlight in pockets. This is great under my Carhartt jacket for warmth During the winter I only take it off to sleep or to wash it. Wears great, never itches, great alone in the house or for layering and wearing outside.

Nice Hoodie but not what they once were!
I love Carhartt Hoodies because they are large enough I can wear over other clothes. I normally wear a 2XLT shirt but a regular 2XL in this fits just fine. Other brands I need a 3XLT. Only problem I have is the quality is slowly going down hill. I just purchased two more to add to the one I purchased last year. The new ones are noticeably thinner lighter weight material. I have always loved Carhartt clothes for their durability but this isn't the first thing I have purchased where I noticed it being lower quality than previous purchases. Last years purchase was made in Honduras, the new ones are made in Mexico. Where are all the Made in America clothing you guys advertise?!!

disappointment
The color was fine. It seems too light compared to other carhartt sweatshirts I have. But it is way way too long. I am 6 feet and it just feels way too sloppy loose because of the extra length which adds more material. This sweatshirt would be great for a very large man. A 300 pounder. In this sweatshirt he would have room to spare. I looked at the label and sure enough it said L (for large). I am 6 feet tall and it felt like I was dragging around a tent. I will not send this back to you. Too much work to package, plus postage. I consider it a total loss.

Lighter fabric than before
My wife gave me one for Christmas last year and I liked it so much I asked for another one this year. She gave me another one of the exact same style number and I'm disappointed that the fabric is much thinner than last year. With the first one, I can run out to the garage or mailbox and not get chilled. With this recent one, the cold goes right through it. I might as well wear a shirt. I live in Michigan so I'm used to the cold weather and I know what to wear outside.

Nothing beats a Carhartt hoodie
My entire winter wardrobe consists of these carhartt hoodies. They last forever, are extremely comfortable and block the cold wind from hitting you. I have some of these hoodies as old as 10+ years and they still look and feel great.
