Loosing Quality
Excellent shirt. Everything all others have said.
I have noticed that within the past year, the shirts are getting a lot "thinner".
The material is nowhere as thick as it was a few years ago.
Now, they just hang on the body.
Before, they fit well and held their shape, wash after wash, after wash.
Please go back to the original thickness of the material used to make the shirts.
Also, some are made in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, etc.
There is a difference.
The exact same shirt made in Mexico the neck fits perfect.
The neck on the shirts made elsewhere are way to big and hang.

Disappointed in new blend.
What happened to !00% Cotton, !00% Cotton, !00% Algodon made in Honduras???? I ordered this year and the blend is not for work, not for warmth just a dress T shirt. My guy does not want them. Will be returning them.. Go back to making them out of the 100% Cotton.

BEST WORK APPAREL EVER
The best work shirt I have ever bought. I'm a tree trimmer for the power light companies and carhartt is the only thing I wear. These shirts are incredible built to last and the true to size. It's kinda hard to find a work shirt my size 6'3" 325. Thank you carhartt for the best work shirts ever.

Great shirt, maybe the body is too long
Very good quality of fabric and stitching. Comfortable for every day life, nice freedom of movement. Slightly baggy. Also the body is really long (I am 172 cm). First I thought they sent me a version for tall people, but label said it is standart, and sleeves had perfect length. Had to ask talior to shorten the body of shirt (5 cm = 2 inches). But I dont mind this - in fact in the catalog photo the shirt looks quite big and long like in real life.

Not made in USA
Purchased some of these shirts at Rural King, they were made in Guatemala, the cotton was a nice quality as was the color and the necklines didn't pucker after washing. Needed a few more, so ordered online from this site. They were made in Honduras, the cotton wasn't near as nice nor was the color and the necklines did pucker after washing. 5 stars for the shirts bought at the store, only 3 stars for these.

Not a heavyweight anymore
Order 2 of these in 2016. They were much heavier weight and thicker. Very warm. I could wear 1 and just a shell jacket in the middle of winter and be fine. This heavyweight one I just ordered feels like a regular shirt now. Not a heavyweight and not very warm. Carhartt must of changed their make

wrong size, size chart is wrong
their size charts are not accurate i bought a large thinking it would fit my boyfriend who’s 170 lbs and 6 ft 4inchs and it ended up fitting my dad who is 300lbs and 6ft 7inchs

Great alone or layered
These long sleeve shirts are great on their own for chilly days. For colder winter days, they are just thick enough to accompany an undershirt. Some other trading company's shirts are over thick and not true to their sizes. I love these long sleeve pocket tees.

Returned it. Poor fit. Ordered a medium, I’m 5’9” 170, arms were super baggy and the shirt itself came down to my mid thigh. Medium shirts usually fit me slightly snug. The sizing on this particular item is way off.

Sizing issues with Carhartt T-shirts
My husband received 5 Carhartt T-shirts for Christmas, some from local stores and some purchased online. They were all the same size, large, but everyone fit him differently and one was so huge it could have fit a horse. This has been an on going problem for my son as well. Both men have been wearing Carhartts for over 20 years but in the past few years this sizing issue has gotten out of hand. It seems to depend somewhat on what country they are made in but not always. It's become so hit or miss that they both have now switched to Dickeys. Someone better figure this out at your end. There is also a difference in the quality of the fabric from country to country.

These things are bullet proof
I can never find long sleeve t shirts that are quality. Cheap, too thin, huge neck holes. Yada yada. This one is heavy and well made. I wear xl but went with a large on this one and it is still big until I put it in a hot dryer and shrink it. Now it fits perfect. But brand new they are BIG. I don't tuck in, and they are long too. I had a tailor cut off two inches in length. Now it is perfect. It will last forever too.

sizing problem
I ordered med original fit, grey heather and port. Port is perfect fit. Grey heather is at least 2 sizes smaller. arms body and length aren't close to same, fits like tight base layer. No more Carhart online. Can't try wont buy

Best T's if you have to do stuff
I've been buying these from a local store as my current stock of another brand's long sleeve T's wear out. I like (1) the roomy fit which is a bit too roomy when new, but there's slow shrinkage in the wash that takes care of that, (2) the tough fabric, (3) the big choice of colors, (4) that they wash up well when really dirt dirty, (5) good looking.

Great Shirt
my husband bought his first Carhatt pocket t-shirt last fall and we have since purchased additional shirts in 8 other colors. The pocket comes in handy and the quality of this shirt is excellent. The shirt launders nicely and the heavy cotton shirt is perfect for working in the garage. He has a couple of the lighter weight pocket t-shirts, but he prefers the heavier long-sleeve t-shirt. It's his new work "uniform". The shirt runs a little big, so do not go up a size when ordering the shirt. Also, great selection of colors -- good job, Carhatt.

always reliable
I've been wearing carhartts for about 15 years now. I had been a levi's guy all my working life. I started off with a carhartt jacket, then some of their pants and now I also wear their shirts. You just can't beat the quality. I've even started giving carhartts as gifts. Their long sleeve t-shirts (my preference) are durable and very well made. The pocket on the shirt comes in handy. I have tried other brands of long sleeve t-shirts , but they just don't last very long with the kind of work I do. You just can't beat the carhartt quality

Fit is good, room to move but not too big. Thick fabric is great for concealed carry. Usually I wish other companies made large/tall options and I'm glad Carhartt offers them but, in my case I found the large to be big enough to comfortably conceal.

Solid Shirt
I now own 12 of these shirts in various colors, they are a great fit once you figure out what your Carhartt size is, they have great durability, and have a pocket that is a perfect fit for an iPhone (probably other phones as well but I don't own those) if your hands and pockets are full.
I also like how they have a great color selection for these which allowed me to get so many of them at a reasonable price and not have to purchase duplicates.

These shirts are the only ones I will wear to work. I am in the construction industry in Arizona and these shirts live up to the Carhartt reputation by being rugged and long lasting. They are also excellent in the hot summers in keeping the sun off of my skin and the long sleeves actually keep me cooler than wearing short sleeves. Excellent quality and fit.

Tough Work Shirt
I have several of these shirts in long and short sleeve. First thing you will notice when you put this shirt on is the heavier material compared to your standard t-shirt. One thing to note is sizing. I usually always get XL size shirts but for these Carhartt shirts I go with Large and they fit great. The neck and wrist elastic fit snug and hold up well. The chest pocket is always handy. I am a tile setter and coat these shirts in thinset, tile dust and grout on a daily basis and these shirts wash up great. Would highly recommend for work or play.

Small size is more like a large in other brands
If the average American is 5’10” then half of them are shorter than that. I’m 5’7” and I bought the smallest size you have thinking it should fit. Boy was I wrong. The shirt comes down almost to my knees. Very disappointed.

Best Solid T-Shirt in the Game!
I'm obsessed with every version of Carhartt's "heavyweight" shirts. They run large so I suggest sizing down. You could wear these shirts all day and they hold their shape well. My closet is full of these shirts in every color!

My favorite when I want good coverage and simplicity in a shirt that can go anywhere and do anything. I'm hesitant about ordering the women's version because I find that necklines and cuts always get weird when things are adapted to women's styles, and this one is already perfect (and comes in more colors).

I bought my husband several colors and they have great a fit. Long enough that he can tuck in & not worry about shirt becoming un-tucked when stooping or bending over. Good arm length. Not tight on his arms. He wears these shirts all winter long !

A Solid Long-Sleeve
I'd bought a Carhartt tee a couple years ago and it still fits great and has years left in it. Heading to hiking in the Rockies I wanted a good base layer so went for long-sleeve tee, and it's awesome! I'm 6' 2”, 200lbs, and for a slimmer fit I go for the Small, but it's still got plenty of room for me. The Carhartt tees are the best workwear tees out there. Long or short-sleeve, I'll be buying again.

I would love the shirt if it fit
I did the extensive sizing help checklist thing and it instructed me to get an XL tall. I'm am 6 foot 4 and 185 pounds so I thought I am probably not worthy of that size. Decided to go wth an Large tall. Got it in the mail the other day. The thing hangs down to my knees. Basically looks like a snuggie. I'm going to have to run this thing through the hot washer and dryer about 40x to even give it a chance. Shoot for 2 - 4 sizes smaller than usual if you want to make an attempt at this beast

Some shirts are better than others.
I like the fact that these long-sleeve shirts have pockets. I originally bought 3 different colors in October 2014 and they are still holding up well. In October 2015 I bought 2 more different colors; a green one and a dark gray one. I rarely sweat when I wear these shirts, but a few weeks ago I was doing some strenuous work that made me sweat. Because of this, both of these shirts have extensive orange stains around the armpits and are now damaged (it does not wash out). I will only wear these around the house as I will not be seen in public wearing them. This has only happened to the last two I bought!

BUT... the X-large Brown sourced from Guatemala is either a XX-large or XXX-large.

Great buy
This shirt is an excellent purchase. Thick and durable while still managing to be extremely comfortable. Shrinks slightly after the first wash and dry. Collar is large enough to stay off of your neck, without being a wrinkly "bacon-neck." Overall, a great shirt for work or play.

XLT long sleeve T shirt
The long sleeve XLT fit my 6'3" 258lb husband perfectly. The material is a heavier weight compared to cheaper brands and well worth the extra expense. T shirts wash and dry very nicely. We will stick with Carhartt. Thank you for such a nice product.

GREAT!
I'm pleased with this product. I have purchased 2 sets of these shirts for work and leisure. The first set lasted for 3 years before they began to wear. They wash and dry beautifully, with minimal shrinking and NO pilling. No "twisting"in the sleeves or body of the shirt either. They are very comfortable. They also allow a full range of movement with no binding. The pocket is sturdy enough to handle the various items I need to have on hand for the workday. Considering the moderate price, the value is exceptional. When my new set begins to wear, I will order more. I also have a set of short-sleeved henleys for summer wear. I highly recommend Carhart products.

Great Quality for the Price
I needed a plain, long sleeve t-shirt with a pocket and finally found what I was looking for on the Carhartt website. I have purchased their belts for years but never tried their clothes before this purchase. The shirts are heavy duty and very comfortable-warm in cold weather and cool when it gets a little hot. The color selection was great as well. No one else has long sleeve t-shirts in as many colors. Highly recommended!

Perfect fit! No shrinkage with washing. Stains come right out and they don't hold the wrinkles when left in the dryer too long. The longer shirt is definitely a plus as my friend tucks his shirt in and this doesn't untuck with all the moving around. Definitely will be buying more of these!

Great cycling jersey
I bought this in the sour apple green as an all-cotton alternative to the overpriced and synthetic bicycling jerseys out there. High visibility, absorbent and wicking, and comes in Tall Sizes. I greatly prefer these hi-viz pocket T's for comfort and safety while riding. Spread the word!

One of the best tshirt I ever bought
I am a fellow french mate, on a trip to America I bought this AMAZING tshirt because it "looked nice and durable".

Carhartt pullover shirts have always been my husband’s choice. He is a casual dresser and these shirts go perfect with jeans. Good choice of colors for fall in the long sleeve selection. They do tend to run large...usually wears XXL in other brand pullover shirts but XL fits him perfectly in this shirt and other Carharrt pullover shirts

HUSBAND LOVES IT AND SO DO I
Bought this shirt along with a few other items for my husband's birthday. He loves it, its not too light, but not too thick. My husband doesn't particularly love long sleeve shirts, and he loved it. Plus, it looks so great on. Win-win! Also, my husband typically wears a large, and in this shirt, he needed to wear a medium.

Carhartt vs LLBean
I love long-sleeve pocket T-shirts. I wear one most every day year-round. I recently switched from LLBean shirts to Carhartt because the LLBean shirts tend to wear out at the seam between cuff and sleeve. in comparison, the LLBean T-shirt is made with smoother, lighter weight cotton and feels more comfortable, whereas the Carhartt T-shirt is made with a heavier, coarser cotton and feels more durable. I expect it will last longer. The Carhartt also has a deeper, wider pocket which better secures either my glasses or iPhone.

Best long sleeve T ever!
This is the best long sleeve T-shirt I have ever owned. I have a stack of them in white, a few in other colors, and I will buy more. I'll never buy another long sleeve T other than this Carhartt. The fit is great (I have long arms, and cheap shirts' sleeves are too short, and worse get shorter as you wash them). Not this one! The fabric weight is good and heavy, no wimpiness here! And it has a pocket, and a subdued logo. This is my favorite shirt.

Regarding the fit, I started to fill in the "Runs Large" bubble, but fact is they really run True to Size for an average sized male. Most products run way, way smaller than what we were used to as younger people.
We would recommend this product, and do, without hesitation. The quality is remarkable; substantial, durable, and it keeps its size wash after wash. The colors stay true and the sleeve ribbing constant. All in all a really wonderful shirt. My husband is delighted and so am I, he looks put together and finished in these long sleeves...they are not skimpy and the ribbing stays snug.

Not true to size
I bought my son 5 of these shirts- he wears a medium in every other shirt. This shirt in a medium, looked like a tent on him. The length is way too long and it looks like it would fit my husband- XL. Carhartt does not do exchanges- very frustrating, so I have to return all 5 and re-order. Don't even think the small will come close to fitting. Wish they made these in slimmer fit. Not all working men are large. My son is 20, 5'11 135 pounds.

Living and working in Austin means changing weather instantly, especially during the fall/winter months it can cool to 35 degrees in the morning and warm up to 80 degrees by midday with these carhart long sleeve Ts i am now prepared keeps me warm and cool when needed most and they feel and fit comfortably it sure does beat any other long sleeve T i've owned. For cooler months

Not just a guy's shirt
I love these long sleeved shirts. I'm a woman and wear a men's small. The shirts are roomy enough that I can wear layers under them in cold weather, but still sleek enough that I can pull a sweatshirt on over the top. The knit wrists stay put and don't drop down over my hands. The fabric weight makes it almost a three season shirt.

Finally, a nice shirt that is actually made of material
I bought a few of these shirts for my elderly father. He loves them. I had a hard time finding shirts that were made of more material that the cheap practically invisible ones at all the normal clothing stores. These shirts will last a long long time. Great Shirt
I love these shirts, I have one in almost every color offered. The only slight issue I have is the fit. They are good in the shoulders and chest, but the sleeves are a touch long (and my arms are longer than they should be for a person of my height) and the overall length of the shirt is a little long, but not by enough to make me not continue to buy them. X-Strong Summer Combo
I purchased a pairof Carhartt shorts last year, and living in Houston, got and continue to get much milage out of them. They are good-looking and thier durability is amazing.
I have worked construction work, athletics, and engaged in social activities with the shorts and have since added a Carharrt Tee and plan to get a long sleeve Tee.

Sleeves That Fit !!!
Carhartt is the only place Ive found that makes clothes that fit true and have the length in the sleeves to make a happy camper.

Dependable Quality with Comfort
Soft yet heavy durable fabric, very comfortable! In the Pacific Northwest, I can almost wear it year-round! (And I will)

Quality LS T shirt

Husband Loves These
The material is much thicker than other shirts and the construction is above the shirts purchased in the past. Husband lovess the extra stiching on the neck and sleeves. Great shirts.

Shrink
The looks good and feels good. The only problem with the shirts are they 100% cotton and they shrink about a inched when wash and dry.
