THINK..!!
these bibs are great and are very warm.... one thing i did not think of and didnt see in anay other reviews was.. ( and this is probably because i was the only idiot that did it) remember when ordering your size that these will be going on over you clothes...!! i made the mistake of ordering my pant size assuming that was taken into consideration... but its not...!!

GOT WHAT I PAYED FOR. QUALITY .
The quality of this product is amazing , very durable material and comfortable as can be for a winter bib. Had no problem paying $108 because you get what you pay for. I WILL SAY THIS REAL QUICK BEFORE ANYONE GETS BORED: Its true fit in length but in waist if your planning to wear a sweatshirt or extra shirts purchase one 2 Sizes bigger. For example: I'm 32w x 30L = 34Wx30L (if available get one size smaller for length if you work on constant muddy or wet places.)

Loving Winter Now!!
I bought my first part of Carhartt Bibs right before winter 2008. I have never been an outdoor winter type of person before and last winter I have for the first time in my life spend a LOT of time outdoors and finally have come to enjoy Wisconsin Winters after living here all my life!! All because of this purchase! These Bibs are downright comfortable, easy to move in and WARM!!! I wore them hiking, sledding, and everytime I had to step out the door last late fall and all winter!! They still look just about brand new too, which means they hold up wonderful! (Our store doesn't carry women's line so I did by a men's pair). Because of these bibs, I no longer dread and hate winter weather!! Nothing I ever owned before even comes close to this! OUTSTANDING!!!

Buy the best buy once
Gave a pair of these bibs to each of my boys for Xmas. They had finally outgrown their old pairs. Carhartt products are warm, durable, well made and you can count on them. You won't be out in the cold and tear a zipper, rip out the back, bust a strap. etc.. You put them on and you can work/play as you please without the worry of damaging/ripping your Carhartts'. I own 2 jackets and 2 sets of bibs myself. Personally I always will buy Carhartt or I just won't buy. This Christmas I got a late start and most of the Carhartts were already gone from the stores. So I ordered online. The service was fast and accurate. The online size chart was right on the money (I was concerned about that but it worked). Honestly, I tell my boys buy the best you can afford and you will only have to buy it once. This is why I ALWAYS by my bibs, coveralls, jackets from this company. Carhartt provides the best product for my needs. Period.

great purchase
I bought these for my husband to wear while working on his car when it's cold. He wore them the day after we received them and loved them. He said they were warm and very comfortable to move around in.

Great fit bibs
I am a rather short person so to find a nice looking warm set of bibs that don't drag the ground was a god send. The extra sizes offered by Carhart is just wish come true. Thanks Carhart for the best set of bibs I have ever bought.

Great investment
Great set of cold weather overalls. I'm 33” waist so I have to wear a 34” in Carhartt pants. I used the sizing chart and called customer service to make sure and their recommendation was two sizes larger to a 38” if I was going to wear jeans underneath. They are spot on, comfortable and warm as can be. I sweat if I have long underwear and jeans underneath. Inseam is what I normally wear.

Excellent product
My Husband really likes the bib coveralls. They hold up to rough use. The side leg zippers makes it easier to get boots on. The lining keeps him warm.

Way Too Small

warm and rugged
these bibs are everything I'd hoped for and more! Extremely durable and the comfort level is off the charts! My only gripe is that they shrink a bit lengthwise. So I would recommend ordering a size up in inseam. Otherwise these bibs are all good. Thanks again Carhartt!

Great Purchase
I purchased these quilt lined overalls for my husband. He works in construction and needs something warm, comfortable and durable and these are it! He has bought these for years, along with the coat and vest, among other articles of clothing. He will only wear the Carhartt brand, as they are the only ones that hold up and they have the zippers to the thigh, which makes them easy on and easy off. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Also the turn-around time from ordering to receiving was very quick, almost unbelievably so. I'm very impressed!

Bib fasteners
Everybody loves Carhartt clothing. But almost every review I have read says they HATE THE FASTENERS. Those piece of junk fasteners are a pain in the butt. Surely you read your own reviews. So why don't you take the hint that those fasteners are junk? Go back to what made you so popular. Why on God's earth did you start using those? It takes me forever to do and undo them. You have to turn them a perfect 90 degrees and then wiggle them around until they finally go together. I spend about 30 seconds trying to get them fastened. And I have been using them for YEARS!!! 90% are upset with the fasteners!!! And why are you making them in Mexico? We want USA made Carhartt!!!

Best of the Best
I ORDERED THIS JACKET AND SOME BIB COVERALLS A LITTLE ON THE BIG SIDE TO GO OVER WORK CLOTHES AND TO STAND UP TO A WYOMING WINTER, I GOT EXACTLY WHAT I WISHED FOR. I'M WAITING FOR THE FIRST 50 BELOW DAY TO USE THESE PRODUCTS PROPERLY, BUT CARHARTT IS THE BEST OF THE BEST, I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH MY UNLINED CARHARTT BIBS, I'VE HAD FOR 5 YEARS.

Like products
I bought this product as a gift for my husband for work. He works outside most of the day and he gets cold and damp in the winter months. His bottom half has been warm and comfortable since he got them. Can't wait to get him a jacket to go with it. His only complaint is that they are a little stiff right now, but he knows that once they are broken in they will be very comfortable.

I have worn many other types of bibs and this are great to wear and work in but I suggest to go up on size in both height and waist it is a little tight where as all other bibs I have had fit me at the same size over all though great bibs and I love carhartt brand

Hard earned money well spent
Absolutely LOVE my Carhartt bibs, from ice fishing and Spring fishing to cold weather motorcycle rides to hunting and cutting wood in the coldest Winters, these bibs get used year round! I have owned these for 10 years and the cuffs are a little worn but don't affect the performance. Warmth without the bulk, they are the BEST you can buy-hands down. It is getting so hard to find quality made products like Carhartt offers, thanks, and keep up the good work!

15 years and still going strong.
I have 2 pair of these bibs and the newest is 15 years old. I wear them all winter long, every winter and no matter how hard I try I just can't kill them. The cuffs are frayed a bit on both pair, I've snagged them in several places and they have faded from brown to a light tan, but they are still very warm and in one piece.

These bibs are not water proof or water resistant but I have insisted on only Carhartt partly because these bibs will not soak through easily like other brands when doing snow work. Last winter I spent 47 straight hours in the snow. My bibs were wet half way up the thigh on the outside but my legs stayed dry. Lesser brands worn by my coworkers left them cold, soaked and miserable.

I've bought 2 new pair of dark brown bibs this year because of color requirements from my employer, but these bibs will continue to serve my needs at home and play for many more years to come.

Love The Navy Blue
I'm 6Ft-238 pounds. Waist 38/Inseam 30.
I Bought the Navy Blue Overalls to wear over pants with a belt and 2 long sleeve shirts. Overalls are 48 Waist and 30 Inseam. These are very durable and very flexible to work in and bend down in and they don't ride up in the crotch.
I would definitely purchase these again.

Best bibs ever!
I recently got a pair of these bibs and love them!!!! The quality is unbelievable. They are so warm, comfortable, and extremely durable! I live in Minnesota and the winters can get brutally cold, but these bibs stand up to the challenge! I love the zip to thigh feature, so I can take them on and off with my boots on no problem. These are my favorite bibs I have ever had and would recommend them to anyone!

I have owned a pair for little over a year now and they are still in good condition. I wear them to work in the mill or doing chores around the farm. I love the zip to thigh feature because you can easily where an underlayer ( sweatpants, thermals, ect.) and not have the legs bunched up. Comfortable year round in Oregon weather. I'm a bigger dude at 6'4 260lbs so it was tight around the stomach at first but now it fits fine. I'm definitely going to get another pair

I love these!
I love these things! I wear a 36x30 size jeans, I ordered a 38x28 size coveys and they fit perfect. Ill never again buy a pair without the zip to thigh zipper ever again. My big winter boots fit right through!

Oh so warm!
Wore these today while I worked outside in -30C Canadian winter weather. Was wearing a pair of double front jeans underneath. Didn't feel the cold at all!! No problem fitting with large winter boots. Normally wear a 4 short, but ordered a men's 30/30. Very happy with them. Def recommend.

Good quality, a little small.
I went with the 'true fit' size that the website offers since it was my normal jeans size. Should have gotten a size up in both the waist and length. They are a little close and tight in the crotch for my liking. But they are durable and very warm.

Satisfaction again
I have used carhartts for at least 40 years and once again they provide the warm and comfort they always have. When I think about getting a warm fishing or work coat it is and always will be carhartts. The package arrived faster then I expected. Still a satisfied customer. I bought these for a salmon fishing trip to Michigan and Alaska.

I have a few pair of carhartt's
I like the quality they are durable. I have 2 of the quilt lined and 2 of the artic lined. I wear quilt on the cold days and the artic lined on freezing cold days as I work most of the time outdoors. They keep me warm. No need for anything else just my jeans,shirt, bibs and coat. NO other brand of lined bibs come close!

One concern
Met my expectations over all but my one are off concern was the suspender attachments to the bib top. having never purchased this product and not noticed until I actually attempted to use them, This is attachment is not what i expected. I find it a little more difficult to use than the button and wire type or button and eyelet types I grew up knowing on other bibbed pants but preferred over a snap. I also have some concerns about it's durability as it appears rather thin and could be easily bent or damaged subjecting it to early failure. Time will tel on that however.

Overall it's still warm and comfy if you get the right size.
I am a big and a tall guy. And it runs short, I wish the straps are longer for a tall guy. I would recommend if you want to get the size get two sizes bigger if you're a tall guy

Perfect Overalls
These are really great overalls. I wear them all the time in the winter for outdoor work. They're great in the snow, and they're so warm that I find myself sweating in them even in frigid temperatures. All a the pockets are great too. These were a great purchase.

Great Deer Camp Accessory
Bought these overalls for the Minnesota gun deer season, and they were perfect - durable & functional. Warm as toast in the early morning hours on my stand, then as things warmed up later in the day, I simply opened the zippers some to cool down. Opened them all the way up while dragging my buck out of the river bottoms and back to camp!

Long lasting
I've had my pair of Bibs for more that 6yrs. and this is my 5th. pair I got my first pair at the age of 8yrs. old. they have been used on my business, crawling under homes and on roof tops.Worn in to the woods walked through brush waded through creeks. I've had Raccoons & Cats claw at the legs, its saved me from many an animal bites.
I would recommend these products to any one
that need a tough and warm outer wear.

winter staple
I have owned a pair of these quilt lined zip to hip overalls for over 10 years and still love them as much as when I first got them! I wear them to snowmobile when ever it isn't raining. I live in the mountains and we snowmobile out to our cars to go to town. The side zip legs are so easy to use and get in and out of and the warm smooth quilt is ideal too. Warm even in negative temps and smooth for easy dressing over jeans or nice pants. You can get in and out of them with out taking off your cozy warm winter boots. Now I make sure I have a pair in my sons size too so it's easy for him to get out to school each morning.

You'll Never Need to Buy Another Pair Again!
i purchased these bibs from the website and recieved propt delivery. the bibs themselves are of excelent quality and withstand anything i throw at them. i work in the construction business and the bibs still fit perfect and keep me warm and protected just as good as the day i took them out of the package. i would reconmend these bibs to anyone who wants a pair of rugged bibs that will last them a life time.

Love these coveralls
These coveralls are great. They hava a pretty good fit and they carry that Carhartt Name which means they are made very good and take a beating. I buy a new pair every year not because my old ones are worn out but I want a pair for every day of the week. You'll love these. Its well worth the purchase!

Great Bibs!
So glad that I could purchase these warm bibs on line. I try to shop local, but the local farm stores did not have the size available. After comparing to other brands, I could tell that Carhartt bibs are made much better. They shipped very quickly and even had a paid return label if the size was incorrect. I have been buying your Carhartt bibs for over 20 years. They a wear well and they last. We are in the tree business in the northeast and it gets pretty cold. The insulated bibs last for a long time. I won't buy anything else. I recommend this product to anyone who works in the colder climates.

Great quality product!!
These are high quality bibs. I bought these for my brother who is 5’5” tall and 148 lbs. After returning my original purchase because they were to tight the new ones came in yesterday and they fit perfect!! He went up 2 sizes in the waist to accomodate heavier winter clothes underneath. He wears a 34/28 and the 38/28 fits perfectly to be comfortable.

SIZE RUNS VERY SMALL
OUR COMPANY ORDERED 28 PAIR AND 14 OF THOSE HAS TO BE RETURNED BECAUSE THEY RUN VERY SMALL. WE ORDERED THESE EXACT BIBS 2 YEARS AGO YET THOSE SAME SIZES ARE NOT COMPARABLE TO WHAT YOU ARE SELLING TODAY.

Top Notch

Great quality
Awesome quality and super fast delivery. Runs really small. I am 5’7” and weigh 165 pounds with a muscular build. I normally wear a 32-33” waist. Had to buy a 38” waist to allow me full maneuverability such as squating and bending over.

Not like they used to be
Since I had read others reviews I knew to order it at least 2 sizes larger. They just don't have the quality "feel" that they used to. While checking them over I noticed that the seams on both sides of waist were already letting go, and I have even tried them on yet! In addition, the traditional button and clasp system of securing the shoulder straps has been replaced by a cheap this metal slot and clip system that is also far more difficult to use than the old system. Make sure you check them out thoroughly before you buy them, they're not like they used to be!!

Great Warm Bibs- becareful with the buttons.
I'm happy with them. They lend themselves well to layering. The button at the foot of the pants so I have to baby it when removing them without taking off my boots.
That makes it slightly annoying.

Perfect for blowing snow!
After many years of wrestling with jeans and thermal underwear, I finally decided to buy a pair of lined coveralls for clearing my driveway in the winter. I could not be happier with the quality and construction of these coveralls. I'm actually looking forward to the first snowfall! Best bibs on the market
Awesome durability and quality in these bibs. Used every morning and many winters on the farm and in the seed house. Somewhat rigid and snug to athletic build folks at first, but break in with time. Warm and easy to wear with a hoodie. Zippers to the waist are a must.

I’be been using this model bib for years and typically I get up to 2 years of solid use as I wear them for work daily for 6-7 months a year. My last pair lasted 4 months before the material at the rear ripped next to the seam. I’m hoping it was just a bad batch, and that this current purchase will be like my old pairs.

Warm bibs for outdoor work need to get broken in still
These fit decent for myself. When bending down to pick something up my crouch and my waist would tighten up to the point it would be uncomfortable and cut off circulation. They are a pretty warm and do the job for keeping me warm outdoors although I’ve only had them for a few months. I wish that they would make the overall bibs from 100% cotton

Great bib! Living in Minnesota, winter can be fairly harsh. But with these bibs the cold isn't a factor. Warmth without sacrificing movement and functionality are key. Durability is second to none. Carhartt is built to last and I plan on enjoying these for many years to come.

This was a purchase for my husband. We ordered one size up in the waist size to allow room for his pants and hey fit perfect. We ordered the length the same as he would normally get in jeans and they fit perfectly over his boots. He said they were very warm along with his Carhartt fleece lined pants while he was out during our most recent snow storm.
All in all he LOVES these cover-alls

Best Bibs You Can Buy.
I bought these bibs after having a competitors brand for several winters. I could tell right out of the box that they were made much better and they are very warm. I work outside for a utility company and good cold weather clothing is an absolute must. If you are considering these, buy them! You will not be disappointed. I wear 32x30 pants. I went with 38x30 bib size so that I can layer under them.

Warm and comfortable
My significant other works as a carpenter. I purchased two pairs to keep him warm during this brutal New England winter. Was advised at the store to get TWO sizes up for waist size so instead of ordering 34x32 I got 38x32. He seemed a little hesitant and disappointed when he opened his gift due to them being two sizes bigger than his norm. However his opinion changed once he tried them on. Definitely recommend going up two waist sizes. Length was perfect. He absolutely loves them. Wears them to snowblow and work. Very happy with this purchase.

I've always been very satisfied with Carhartt clothing. I like the black bibs because they absorb extra heat from the Sun. Front pockets could be a tad deeper to accommodate cell phones, otherwise they're excellent working man's clothes.

All ducks are not water resistant
I called csr on chat and they conferred with me re sizing. They fit me exactly as I wanted them to fit. I always thought duck overalls were water resistant. These are not. I will check on getting some Scotch guard. I own arctic bibs for really cold days when building power plants, but they are quite heavy, especially if working high up in structure. This set will be for slightly cold days, or when I am very active and need lighter bibs due to activity. My wardrobe is 90% Carhartt and 10% UA....that equals 100% success.

Great Bibs
Absolutely the best purchase I've made from Carhartt. Perfect for doing anything outside in the winter! Make sure you order at least 1 size bigger than your normal waist size. If you plan on wearing pants underneath order 2 sizes up. Great product overall, couldn't be happier.

First pair of Bibs
Usually when you start out with a pair of bibs you don't get something as nice as these Carhartt Bibs. They are fantastic in every aspect. They do a real good job at keeping me warm and make winter weather that much more bareable.

Christmas present

Different style from years past
I buy a new pair every year and have always enjoyed the fit and quality of the bibs. This year they seem to be cheaply made (cut back on 60% of the zippers, 90% of the buttons and some of the stitching seems questionable) they feel like a cheap pair from Walmart. I just purchased this pair and will update my review after some ware time but initially not impressed.

Don't go by the sizes
My hubby is a true 34x34...we bought him 44x34. The waist measurements are way off, unless you like them so tight you can't bend over? They are worth the money, they last forever.

Overalls

Should've Bought Them Sooner!
This bibs are worth every penny. I use them to work outside in subzero temps and am perfectly fine with just thermals and shorts underneath. My only suggestion is to buy them a size up from your regular pants size.

Fits great!

Really Stiff!
I really thought it would soften up a little. Follow the instruction for washing and drying the bibs. No Luck. Reminds me of the starch fatigues during my army days.

Time to replace
I bought my Bibs a very long time ago I must say they lasted way longer than I ever would have thought. 96 to be exact and have worn them every Winter to work and they have finally got to the point that they need to be replaced. I have had the Jackets as well and would recommend to anyone that it is well worth it to purchase Carhart Products

Best Overalls overall
I ordered my husband these Bib Overalls for his birthday. The first order was too big so we sent them back and exchanged for a smaller size. There were no problems in the process. It went very smooth. He loves them and they look good on him too. He got to wear them for the first time at our granddaughter's second birthday in which we had a pig pickin. He was the cook. Overall he is very satisfied with his new overalls and we are pleased with the great service from Carhart

Carhartt's Best
To me this is the best product that Carhartt makes. I use them all winter to keep me warm and they do that very well. They are durable and I don't have to worry about them falling apart on me and leaving me cold while I am working.

This person is part of our Field Testing program and may have received this product for free. We operate one of the most rigorous field testing programs in the business.

Just got these, so far so good. Use for outdoor work and outdoor activity, hiking,etc. Light first layer works well down to twenty degrees, might want slightly heavier first layer below twenty. You can vent them and snap them if you get too warm.
Fit me just fine. Bought them at Detroit Carhartt store, very helpful staff. Didn't have my exact size at store, but had them shipped (free of charge) and had them several days later.

Great bibs for cold and sniw
I’m 5’11 190 lbs 33 waist 32 length. Bought 38 waist 32 length. Fits well over jeans and thermals. Comfortable in 0 degrees snow blowing or playing with my 4 year old.

Out of Proportion
The overall would be great if the suspenders were in proportion to the size. I'm 6' 1" and would have to be another 3" taller from the waste up for the suspenders to be the right proportion. As it is I have to adjust the suspenders all the way up and they are still an inch to long.

The stitching on the sides by the hips came undone within a few weeks of receiving these overalls. The leg length is shorter than what it should be (and I bought a size larger than what I normally wear).

Overall, not impressed. I had a pair that was handed down to me from back in the 80s. i outgrew them and they were still in good shape. I figured that a newer version would at least be on par with the old overalls. I was wrong.
