FRB240 Carhartt Men's Flame-Resistant Canvas Cargo Pant
These men's canvas pants are built to last through several seasons of hard work. Comfortable enough for warm weather, they're made with midweight FR canvas. They feature two back pockets that are reinforced to prevent blowouts as well as two large cargo pockets. The loose original fit is our most generous cut, giving you plenty of room to kneel, bend, or squat.
- Meets the performance requirements of NFPA 70E
- UL classified to NFPA 2112
- Carhartt FR label sewn on back pocket; NFPA 2112/CAT 2 label sewn on waistband
- Carhartt-strong triple-stitched main seams
- More room to move with a comfortable fit through the seat and thigh and a straight leg opening
- Brass zipper fly with Nomex FR zipper tape; Arc-resistant button closure at waist
- Two large side cargo pockets with pen slots
- Two reinforced back pockets

Great pair of FR pants but must try on first!!!
These cargo pants are great fitting but they are not true to size. I wear a 36"/34" Levi jeans and these jeans I have to wear a 42"/34" and still a little snug . These are great pair of jeans none the less the only other problem is the Velcro doesn't last long mine gave out after only two wears I would recommend snap closures or or some type of closures used. The durability would improve even further.

Extremely tight waist
Not true to size. All my pants are the same size, except these pant hurt at the waist. My co-workers say the same thing. Now i'm stuck with them because i trusted the size and pulled the tags. Order these one, maybe two, sizes bigger at the waist and they will fit how you expect. Otherwise, decent quality

Great Pant, Closures Need Some Work
I am using these pants in Saudi Arabia. They are comfortable in both the winter months (10C) and summer months (50C). They wash well and are quite durable. The velcro pocket closures have worn out after 20 wearings or so. I had to take them to a tailor and have button closures sewn in. Other than that, I am very happy with the product.

Great FR Pants
Without a doubt, my favorite pair of FR pants. As with all FR pants, you should probly get them a size bigger than normal, but they're extremely comfortable and durable. I just wish they had more colors!

Best option out there
I have been in the safety industry for years and have tried many manufacturers products and have found that nothing can compare to the overall quality of these pants. Not as dark of a blue as some but color remains constant for many washings.
This person is part of our Field Testing program and may have received this product for free. We operate one of the most rigorous field testing programs in the business.

Pant run to big
The inseam is to long orderd 32” inseam and I got 38” inseam pants way to long. Pants never fit as sized, Disappointed

Poor fit.
Too long. Size 32 length was really a 34. Placed it side by side with other size 32 length Carhartt pants and it was 2 inches longer than ALL of them. I’ve been a size 32 length for 22 years.

Gets the job done
The waist and butt fit well. The cargo pockets are big enough for a plus size phone. The fit in the legs are a bit baggy for me (seems all of my carhartt FR pants fit big in the legs). As for the FR properties, I hope I never have to find out.

Sizing
I really like these FR pants, main issue is length. My inseam is 32 and I always order a 32in inseam. I have found that these pants (and it seems to be inherent with many styles) the inseam is always too long. I expect a little shrinkage but not sure these will shrink like jeans. Should they not shrink enough I will need to have the inseam changed to allow these pants not to drag the ground or get caught under my heels.
As a suggestion it would be good if Carhart were to either note that there is no shrinkage or that the pants would shrink.
Also would prefer All American Products. Not products made in foreign countries. We have the technology to do our own manufacturing to a higher standard and that means better quality.

Cargo pants good buy.
Material holds up well no problems with zipper or pockets. Length is to size. I would order two sizes bigger for waist. Pants do not shrink after many times in the dryer.

Great quality just way too long
I love the pants, but hate the fact that they are too long. I ordered 38x30 and the length was 34 1/2 in long. Carhartt needs to have shorter lengths for guys under 6”0 feet tall.

32 inseam is longer than it should be. Seems almost that it’s a 34 inseam. Other than that great fit other wise. Will order a 30 inseam next go around.

flame resistant paints
I was very happy with the product it fit well and was very comfortable.
My only issue was the purchase of the items. I purchased on line but did not receive any electrical verification that the order had been received until when I was notified 3 days later that they had shipped. this delay almost caused me to purchase from another vendor as I needed to ensure I had the clothing prior to my trip.

Already has fraying fabric. It was worn once. I normally love carhart. I work in the oil refining business and I have to where flame retardant clothing. I decided to spend the money for the better quality. And now I'm regretting it. Could have got more clothing for cheaper.

Nothing wrong with ththe pants then selves, just not my style. Too baggy! I've sent them back and will be replacing them with 2 pair of cargo pants from carhart! That I love! Thanks again.

Carhart Fr work pants
I really like the pants. The only complaint is that the Velcro on the side pockets wears out in a matter of days. I would prefer a better closing method ie large buttons or nothing but a flap
