I wear these pants every day for work. There have been dirty days and not so dirty days. They clean up great and to me are like your best dog, always there for you. It would only get better if there were more colors (charcoal,grey,navy). Awesome pants!

I just got a pair of these pants, first thing I noticed was that they are pretty thin. They are also not triple stitched like other Carhartt pants I own. Made in Mexico, but at least have a good YKK zipper that stays up. I do like the fabric, its soft to the touch, though I don't think they will wear as well as the heavier fabric on classic Carhartts. Fit-wise, I think they run a little small for the size, I got one size larger and they fit snug before washing them for the first time. I think they will be good for casual wear, not heavy duty work.

Love them
I've purchased two pair so far. The fit and the comfort are great. I have long legs and get the 36 inch inseams and have a 33inch waist. I've always been a Wrangler guy. But Wranglers have gone down hill. Great pants will buy more in the future.

Always Great Products
I was really pleased with the Twill pants. I always wear Carhartt jeans, I was looking for something to replace when i had to wear Slacksand a Collered Shirt.(which i dont like).So i ordered a couple pair of the Carhartt Twill Relaxed Fit to try out.. I am going to order 3 more pair . Also Guys they look Great with button up shirt just FYI. So no more Slacks..

Great Pants
These are the first Carhartt pants I have ever ordered and am so glad I did, I've had 2 pair for a month now and they get regular use. Not only are they very durable, they are very comfortable, and very easy to keep clean. The tool pockets and hammer loop are great and get used on a daily basis. I will say that the material has stretched a little with use so they fit absolutely perfect now. Would recommend completely.

Inconsistent on the inseam.
I currently own eight pair of these I use for work, I am a HVAC Tech. Overall these are a comfortable pair of pants, lightweight and cool during summer months. The last two pairs I purchased have been to tight on the inseam.

Not happy.
I wish carhartt pants all fit the same. I am a size 36 with the B151 pants so I ordered the same size with these pants and they are so tight i need to return them. I dont think I will ever order pants online from carhartt since I have noticed that every different style fits differently.

Sizing Mismatked
Was very unhappy with this product. I've worn Carhartt pants for years and this pair's size was severely mismatked. Was not even close to being the size on the label! Obviously it slipped through quality control! Will not buy another pair online. Can no longer trust the sizing.

Best Purchase
Being 6'6" it is extremely difficult to find pants in a 36" length. When I ordered these pants, and they arrived, I was amazed at the great fit/comfort/durability. I plan on ordering 3 more pair.

Comfort depends on the pair
I have two pairs of these which I bought a couple years ago. Even though they are the same model and size and both made in Nicaragua, they fit differently. The black pair fits absolutely great and is probably the most comfortable pair of pants I've ever owned. The dark khaki pair, however, doesn't fit the same way; the rise (the distance between the crotch and the waistband) is too short and they have never been nearly as comfortable.
Also of note, I had to buy them a size longer than I usually do (34 length instead of 32) in order to get them to fit properly in the rise. (I've noticed that with some other Carhartt pants). So, they're a bit on the long side; sometimes I roll up the cuffs.
I've only used them for casual wear so can't say much about durability. One thing I can say is they're not exactly warm in wintertime, but I guess they're not pretending to be.

I've worn these pants for many years and think they are the perfect summer work pant. I'm a carpenter doing mostly high end finish work and I feel that the field khaki color gives a more professional appearance than just a pair of jeans. However a double knee version would be nice. By the way, mine are triple stitched!

Awesome pants!!
I'm a welder/pipefitter and these pants have been tested in the field and they perform without any doubts. Much like all my Carhartt gear these pants will most likely last until I retire haha. And I'm only 22. Keep the good stuff coming.

This person is part of our Field Testing program and may have received this product for free. We operate one of the most rigorous field testing programs in the business.

My daily wear for years, but please lose the hammer loop!
I've worn these pants every day for years. These pants have the essential pockets I need -- for my daily carry flashlight and my phone -- located where they don't get in the way when you sit or kneel. The pants are pretty durable, they look ok in a casual office and around town, and are versatile enough for hiking, camping, and yard & garage work. Quality control has varied over the years, but is usually good enough. I do wish they came in a few more colors, but the khaki and coffee colors are generally good enough.

My lasting gripe is that the hammer loop is useless. It gets caught on things and I have never used it.

sized incorrectly
I ordered a 36" waist - 34" length. When they arrived, they were 34" waist and 36" length. So the sizing looks like it was reversed. Had to be returned. The pants were nice, but didn't fit.

Great fit and comfort, poor durability
I'm a builder and designer and bought these pants for everyday work wear. The fit is great - far less baggy and bulky than the traditional loose fit - as are the features. Unfortunately I had a hole in one knee after less than two months of intermittent use. Really disappointing. I guess duck or canvas is the only way to go if you really want to work in the pants.

Should’ve seen reviews before I bought this item. Started ripping at the zippers seam within 2-3 months of owning these “work” jeans. Seems like the quality of all products are going downhill. Probably won’t order from carhartt anymore.

disappointed in fit changes, reduced comfort
I have 2 pair of these that are several years old. I had to return the new ones because they were much tighter in the thighs than the old pairs...what a disappointment, as the old ones are my favorite go-to pants. Too bad the comfortable fit has been compromised; I will have to start looking for something else.

Good Pants
These are great pants. I ordered two different styles because I wasn't sure which ones I would like the most before ordering more and there is no place around me that carries the styles I wanted.

I only sent them back because then sit slightly below the natural waist and I wanted ones that sit at the natural waist so I ordered some B11 and B151 paints.

No Size Fits
I bought these pants 3 different times, each with VERY big gaps betweeen the size, and no matter what, they don't fit. I went by the "True Size" and by pure physical measurement, no matter what I did they do not fit. Will not be buying anything from Carhartt ever again, tired of buying just to pay for returning and getting nothing from my purchases.

Good, but not quite good enough
Bought this to replace another brand's product of same look and price, but now modified for the worse. In comparison Carhartt about same texture and appearance with two shortcomings: even with relaxed fit, tighter than the others through backside and crotch, and side pockets engineered too narrow to accommodate much on the left, even a small iphone, leaving little flexibility on where to put items. In addition, a useful suggestion might be to incorporate a small velcro loop on cell phone pocket to keep phone from sliding out while seated. All in all, a decent product at the price.

Nice if you have thin legs
A little tighter fit than I anticipated. Look good. Flap inside phone pocket has a tendency to catch the phone behind it making it difficult to pull out. Perfect cloth weight, neither too heavy or too light.

Longest lasting, best pants I've ever owned
I have had a pair of these pants for over 7 years and worn them weekly. This includes years of roofing houses and construction work. The only reason I had to get new pairs is because I put a large gatorade in the back pocket and ripped it slightly, still wearable, just not as a professional.

The problem I have is that you pants 30" inseam. Some of us are not that tall. Just maybe you can try making a few pair of pants with a inseam of 29" 28" or maybe even 27".

Great !
I bought multiple pairs of these for my boyfriend, he is a carpenter. He loves the way they fit, very comfortable and durable to work in. Also great if you’re working outside in fairly cold weather, no more having to wear a few pair of long john’s under neath!

Awesome!
Great pants! They feel nice, they look nice and they are durable. The only problem is the size can throw you off a bit. They are a little smaller on the W and a little longer on the L. I usually wear a 34 W x 34 L, but it fits tight and they are too long. I settled for a 36 X 32 and they fit great.

Best of both worlds--city & country
Casual trousers, but could hit the country for a bit. Not as durable as a duck-canvas, but can certainly be roughed up and patched. Thicker than a chino/khaki. I'm 6'1", athletic build, got the 32x34. Sits at/above waist. Nice fit around waist, not tight around thighs/calves, but not billowing loose either. Will roll the legs up once or twice if not wearing big boots. Light enough to be easy breezy in the hot city, even in a casual office. Durable enough to go fishing and rough things up a bit. Had an initial issue, but all is good
There was some weird tiny end of what appeared to be monofilament poking through the waistband near the button. Painful and annoying, especially when sitting. Took me a while to figure out what was going on. Thought it was just stiff and needed to be washed. Was able to find it and clipped it off. All is good now. Very comfortable.

Greatest Looking Carhartts Ever?
I have worn Carhartt Dungaree Fit Pants for years and these are by far the best looking and most comfortable yet. Such a nice soft twill fabric and Carhartt toughness make for an unmatched product that will be my favorite for many years to come. Thanks to Carhartt for reinventing my favorite pants once again. Please bring back the Ripstop Dungaree too!

Great Pants, But Waste Size Runs Small
Great pants - durable and functional. I've been wearing them for years. I had to return my order because the waste was too tight on both pair of pants. I wear a 32 waist in many other pant makes and styles with room to spare. And after paying $20 via UPS Ground to return two pair of $40 pants, I'm reluctant to buy online again. The problem is finding the right size and colors in stores.

Great Work Pants

Can’t hold up to everyday wear and tear
I switched to this style after wearing the double fronts for years and constantly having the crotch blow out on them. I’m a mechanic by trade, so i do a lot of squatting and lifting heavy objects resting on my thighs so I was a bit hessitant to try this style without the double front but they seemed to have a little more “give” in the fabric, fingers crossed the crotch won’t blow out. I bought 2 pairs to alternate wearing week by week. First thing i noticed was the sizing difference. I’m a 34x34 and after washing both pairs, one I have to wear with a belt, the other I can barely do the button up on. And of course since I had washed them already I couldn’t exchange for another pair. fast forward about 5 months and the tighter of the two is holding up fine surprisingly, the looser fit one however just had the rear end blow out, not even on a seam. Really disappointed in the outcome of this style as I actually found them to be a better work pant than the double front style.

Sizing issue on last order of pants
Most of my daily clothes are Carhartt and I really like them. However this time I ordered three pair of the washed twill relaxed fit pants, all sized 42x32 and that’s what they all were labeled to be but one pair was two inches longer than the other two pair. I washed all three and it helped a bit, perhaps one pair never got washed?? Hmmm, don’t know..Regardless I will continue wearing Carhartt pants, jackets, and shirts as they are perfect for almost all occasions, work or pleasure.

Good fit and decent quality
I like these pants, I have another pair that I got about a year and a half out of, and i wore them a lot. My only gripe about the pair I got this time around is the color. I ordered the field khaki and they are basically white, not great for the work that I do so I don't wear them often since they will look after a roof or two. But they fit well and are comfortable.

Everything about this style of Carhartt pant is great. I ordered a pair in coffee and a pair in green. The coffee pant was 31 inches long instead of 30”. The pant was tagged 30 inches in length. So I washed them thinking they would shrink to size. 3 hot water washes later the pants had only shrunk a 1/4 inch. I checked the green pair and they were 30 inches in length and fit.I have had two of these pants for years and they are wearing a bit so this new order was to replace them.I would recommend these pants but check them for size and if they are off length as this pair of mine were, call Carhartt and sort it out.

Finally function pants that fit and last with smart features
I've had my share of work pants with wide flappy legs - so much so that I couldn't get off my tractor without hitting a lever. These pants are smartly fitted and suit just about any work need. I am attaching a photo of my jeans next to my these work pants after a couple of days of laying down and fixing pavers and a rock wall. - No contest.

Pants are very long.
I've always worn 34 length pants, and these are some long pants. A good 1.5 to 2 inches longer than other Carhartts I ordered. Can't speak for durability as i'm returning them but they are comfortable and feel nice.

Too snug
The pair of pants were very nice, but just didn't fit well. The name says "Relaxed Fit", but I found them very tight in the Thigh area, and a little small in the 34" waste. I expected a roomier fit. would be great in a 35 waste and larger thigh area. I returned via UPS. What pair do you suggest that I try ?

Good fit. Poor durability.
Like the fit but very disappointed in the durability of the material. These pants will not survive many days of work. Very happy with the 12 oz duck canvas pants but wish there were more options in a relaxed fit.

Durable, functional, high-quality pants
I recently started wearing men's pants because they tend to be more functional, and I just can't stand the way most women's pants fit. If they fit in the legs, then they're way too big in the waist. If they fit in the waist, then they're too tight around my legs. These pants fit my body perfectly. The pockets are actually functional; there's enough room in the legs for me to sit, squat, or do whatever I need to; the fabric feels thick and not flimsy; and they seem like they'd be warm in cold weather.

Good & Bad
I work in nightclub security and use these pants as my uniform pants. I love the fit & cut of these over other carhartts by far. Also like the side pockets for extra gear. What I don't like is that after a few months and several washes (always on cold) they look dirty/shiney all the time. Also, the rear right pocket always seems to rip/tear on the upper right corner, almost everytime. I have about 6 pairs, as I just end up buying new ones when they get or look old. Wish they made this cut/style with a different (betetr/stronger) fabric in black, then I'd be really satisfied with the price I am paying.

Haven't had them that long but so far really like
I wear 34 -30in wranglers so thats what I ordered in the. #324 pants. Had to send them back because I couldn't button them. Had to order 36-30 and they are fine so they run small in the waist also I think they could put a better zipper in them Zipper cheap. Would like them to be a littl smaller in the thighs.

Don't hold up
These pants are super comfortable, look great but are not good for working in. They do not hold up. The soft material that makes them so comfortable will pull apart and rip where they cannot be mended. Wear them to look good in, not to work in.

ripped at the zipper seam
1. I wear a size 32 waist/30 inseam, but the pants I bought read 30 waist/32 inseam because that's what fit me when I tried them on at the store.

2. Within 2 months of normal wear, the material ripped along inseam, just below the zipper, for about 6". No way to repair them as there's not enough material to patch up. I tried heat-bonding but because of the location, the heat-bond would not stay. I guess I'll keep the material to repair tears in my other pairs of pants.

These are not "for work" pants, unless you work behind a desk.

Great pants
This is my second round with these pants. I bought 3 pair several years ago and have worn them out. I really liked them and was so impressed about how long they lasted, so I bought two new pair. Just like the old, comfortable and soft right away, fit well, and I know they will last a long time through a lot of work. These have replaced jeans as my favorite pants, I highly recommend them.

Couldn’t find better pants and I’ve tried
What can I say that hasn’t been said. These pants are great. I have tried many different brands and styles even going as far as ordering fairly expensive work pants online only to find that they are still lacking when compared to the quality of Carhartt pants. These are not only comfy with the required amount of pockets I need ( I hate wearing a tool belt ) but they last a long damn time. I’m an electrician and put a lot of use into these pants and they hold up every time.

New Twill pants review.
The fit and feel are very nice. These pants are exactly what I expected after the chat with the Carhartt rep when I ordered them.
The only improvement I would suggest is widening the right leg tool pocket slightly larger. Smart Phones aren’t getting smaller. It’s a little tight for mine.

Great improvement vs previous fabric. New fabric thicker and overall is going to hold up better. Had several pairs in old fabric and they would be shot in 2 years construction work. I bought 4 pairs in New fabric, good deal.

Love these pants. I usually can’t wear pants that aren’t tailored to me because I am a competitive gymnast so everything fits wrong. I got these as a recommendation from a family member, These are the best work pants that I have ever worn. They fit awesome and they wash unbelievably well. These pants don’t shrink and they haven’t faded yet. I wash and dry both on hot. I am 5’7 and 157 pounds, I wear a 33x30, but could go down to a 32x30.

Relaxed fit sounds like it is large everywhere which would have caused me to pass these up except my brother bought a pair and I asked him about them. Great Work Pants
Bought these for my boyfriend for work. He is a foresting consultant and spends a lot of time in thick woods. The pants are satisfactorily durable for the work that he does and they look great on him! They fit true to size.

A little too tight
When it comes to construction pants I've come to find out that the looser the fit the better. Unfortunately for climbing ladders and constant bending and coming down on my knees these "relaxed fit" pants are too tight. Maybe a gusseted crotch feature could solve that.

Best Pair of Pants
Working in Kansas during the summer and during the winter in Cleveland, this pair of pants is the absolute best. I have worn these for formal occasions, working on an ATV, and slogging through mud and slush.

what i have been looking for.
i normally just wear store bought jeans at work , which never fit quite right, decided to try something a step up and i am glad i did. they fit right, have enough flexibility to be usable at work and are so comfortable.ill be buying a couple more sets for sure!

Favorite work pants
Pants were exactly what I remembered when I bought a pair the first time at the store. They fit great, they're flexible, and very comfortable to boot. My last pair lasted me a year and a half under heavy use - being in construction. Very good quality material.

Wash twilled tough enough for a Scout
As a Boy Scout leader with 2 children in Scouting and always in the need for Scout pants I gave the Washed Twilled Relaxed Fit Work Pants(green, of course), a shot. The kids and I love them. They are very durable and comfortable allowing us to do such things as build shelters, perform community service projects, hike and many more Scouting activities. We save a lot of money which is also a major benefit. Keep up the great work.

Comfortable for active working
I really like these pants. The four stars is a small critique on how high they sit on my waist. i would like them just a little lower but maybe that is the way my body is shaped. But they are very soft to the touch and roomy for crouching. Over all very comfortable. I bought one size higher and I am very happy with the results. Thanks Carhartt, please keep doing a good job!

So I like the pants, they are true to fit but fill tight but they aren't tight I did 5 real squats in them and they did great, nice small tool pockets on the leg, I think on next pair I will get one size larger just as a personal preference

Best buy I have found

Great warm winter pants.
Pants that have helped keep my legs warm in the cold winter. I'm very slim and keep these up with a belt for extra security since they will slide down a bit if I don't. They do feel a bit large and baggy but not too baggy.

The best business casual work pants ever
I own these pants in 2 other colors. Unfortunately the local farm chain store carries only 2 colors, kaki and green. I was able to find additional colors online. The only down side to ordering online is the shipping and tax was a little more than what I can get in the farm store.

These Are The Go To Pants For The Guys In My Family

Very comfortable. I bought them a tiny bit loose, but I wish I hadn't. Once I wore them, they stretched a bit and now I have to wear a belt. They tighten back up after washing, but if you wear them a couple days between washings (come on, they're jeans!) they loosen up.

Perfect work pant
I work in the oil and gas industry and was looking for a substitute to wearing jeans all the time. The dungarees are a super soft material with lots or flexibility that works perfect for my job, having to wear them under fore resistant coveralls. They also last an extremely long time compared to the average jeans. I have 3 pairs.

Stands up to anythingg
these are pretty much the only pants i ever wear. I have a few diffrent styles of them, single knee, double knee, insulted... Regardless i live a hard lifestyle and work harder. For the past 10+ years i have travelled the country from coast to coast doing everything from working on farms to construction. Hoping trains, hitch hiking, walking, riding my motor cycle and or driving... These pants have stood up to whatever i have thrown at them!! They require some patching from time to time, but they can take a licking and keep on ticking!! Nothing else can even come close to the battery i run a pair of pants through... They are the best!

Great fitting and great looking pants. I work in the oil and fuel industry and these pants look and play the part of casual and tough. Whether meeting with clients for lunch or working in the field these jeans are great. And the phone pocket holds your phone perfectly so no phone clip sticking in your side or getting caught up in your seat belt.

Love these pants. Big small in the waist compared to your average Levis. I wear 34 normally, These are a bit tight in the hips a 35 would be perfect.

Great Pants

My favorite pants
I have 2 pairs of these and I wear them nearly every weekend. They're perfect for yard work or home improvement projects. Very comfortable and great fit. They're a little too casual to wear out of the house, other than the hardware store or running errands. They'll probably last for years and years. Triple seams everywhere.

Excellent product
I've worn many brands of work wear and always come back to Carhartt, not for the name but for the quality. I just purchased 2 pair of these pants at a local Carhartt dealer and I'm seriously considering going back for more. These are probably the most comfortable pant I have ever worn. I just assuming the durability will be there since I've only had them for a little over a week but since they have the Carhartt name on them, I'm confident they'll last awhile.

Great Product
This makes the perfect do-it-all pants for the yard, the garage, or the shop. I've had work pants from other brands that were so stiff they could stand on their own but these have a nice feel with the Carhartt durability I've come to expect. I would recommend these for anyone looking for a quality pair of pants at a reasonable price.

Another quality product!
The first impression of these dungarees was a very good one. All the Carhartt workwear I own has a quality that puts it in its own class. The construction is excellent and color was good. The sizing is pretty accurate.

As far as the fit goes, it is definitely more fitted than the other dungarees, but I think they could have improved that a bit below the knees.

Great fabric and fit but they use a shorter zipper

Good Decision
I am a Carhartt fan! I am pleased with the fit and finish of these pants. They fit well and look nice. I have only had them a short time but they appear to be very durable. A very nice alternative to the mediocre pants my employer provides!

Perfect for non movers.
I would recommend this product IF you predominantly sit still all the time. The fit is great, the fabric feels good. Unfortunately each day i have a 2 -5 mile walk as part of my commute each day. 4 pairs of these pants in circulation and I still manage to wear through the vrotvh in about 4 months. Like i said, i like these alot and would recommend them to anyone as long as the stay still most of the time.
