Carhartt's 11 inch bison work boot, steel toe stands up to the toughest terrain. Constructed with abrasion-resistant Cordura nylon and oil-tanned leather, its dual-density PU (polyurethane) outsole is oil, chemical and slip resistant. A waterproof membrane helps to ensure dryness, and an OrthoLite insole adds comfort. It's built Carhartt strong with direct-attached welt construction with a molded TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) heel counter. Featuring a steel toe, it's ASTM 2413-05, EH rated.

Horrible Design
The new heel guard is horrible. All it is good for is rubbing the side of your ankle raw while you are working. Overall worst work boot I have ever owned. Ready for them to be worn out since, if you wear them once you can't get a refund. Really stinks I have always liked Carhartt products a lot.

Finally a comfortable work boot.
I have a very hard time finding a comfortable work boot but these are comfortable from the start. They do run a little small normally I wear a size 9 and had to get a size 10.

Literally Feet Savers
This product has been my every work day choice for footwear with this exact pair for the past 4-5 years, and recently it was truly put to the test of durability, recently i was involved in a motorcycle accident that involved me sliding sideways into the side of the pick up truck that pulled out in front of me, thankfully i was wearing these boots like i always do whenever i ride because the damage to the steel toe would have definitely been to my actual foot had not been for the very well built steel toe design. So thank you Carharrt for making such a long lasting, comfortable, and durable product. I owe quite possibly my ability to walk to them.

money well spent
This is my second pair of these boots. The first pair lasted three years of hard oilfield use and abuse. After three years the sole finally split on one of the boots but it still never leaked. These boots are very well crafted and very comfortable for those very long shifts. If you are looking for boots that are comfortable and can handle extreme conditions day after day then you have found them here. Thanks Carhartt. Excellent product.

Best boots your money can buy.
I've had these boots for over two years and they are holding up strong. I've worked irrigation for 6 months where the boots would be saturated by day's end. Now work as a mechanic where these boots see oil, grease, and fuel everyday. I wear them not only at work but for everyday activities. The only thing wrong with my boots is the leather has ripped over the steel toe from continuously rubing the asphalt when kneeling. They are very comfortable and I will continue to buy the carhartt bison boots.

fell apart in less than 4 months
Bought a pair of these in March, and now in July the left boot has completely dissentegrated. Stitching has come undone, sole just fell to pieces (literally fell to small pieces). And came loose from the bottom of the boot. It is a shame, because these boots are very comfortable.

Wide is't wide at all in this model
I have two others of models of carhartt boots that I like but these are not wide at all in the "wide" size. They are the width of a normal boot.

15 years in construction
Bought so many different types of work boots. By far the best boots I've ever had. On my second pair now and the first pair is still holding up. Definitely worth the money.

BEST WORK BOOTS EVER!!!!
Had these for a couple months now, and by far the best!!! Had about 10 pairs of others brands and this is by far the most comfortable, quick to break in and doesn’t hurt your feet during break in period

Worse boot
I work 6 days a week at least 4 days are 12 hour shifts I'll m extremely unsatisfied with these boots really uncomfortable and they do not breath.once a year the company I work for will reimburse you for boots of your choice I picked this boot.i have blasters on my heals and athlete's feet cause they make your feet sweat so much..I've already worn them to work in so now I can't return them I've had them for 2 weeks now thinking after I broke them In it would get better absolutely not worse boot I've ever owned

Pull the trigger!
Great boots, comfy as hell. Little loose in the heel but thick socks will help. Waitin on some wetter weather to test out the waterproofing, but so far so good. Would definitely recommend these boots!

Nice boot, well designed and good materials
I really enjoy these boots. Nice look and fit. They feel as comfortable as tennis shoes. A little heavy but that just makes you stronger.

Durable and the most long kasting boots ive ever purchased. This is my second pair. Took the first pair 4 years of hard work and wear snd tare to finally give out. Couldnt ask for a better boot in my opinion.

Just can't make them work for me
I've had 4 pairs of these over the past few years. 2 pairs the sole split. Carhartt did warranty the second pair and replace them. The last 2 pairs I rotate back and forth between and the liners are coming out of them. I either can't put put them on without it bunching up under my foot or I can't take my foot out because it tries to come out with my foot and locks the boot onto me. It's too bad I can't get a pair to last even a year they are comfortable. I drive truck for a living so they don't see much abuse either. I won't be giving them another chance just because they are comfortable I'll be looking for a new option.

Excellent boots
I bought these for my son who works in construction. He says they are comfortable and well made. He likes the steel toe and ankle guards as safety features. Very good product. We will definitely purchase again.

Great boots with one exception
These are most comfortable boots I have EVER owned, hands down! The fit is spot on, they are very light weight, and have good support. They are so comfortable that I even wore them on my days off, and for those that wear steel toe work boots, you know thats saying a lot! However, the only problem I had is that both the soles split all the way across just behind the toes and before the arch. This happened after about 9 months, and since winter was over i continued to wear them. I ordered another pair this week, and relized that they would have still been under warrenty at the time they split, but I had forgot about the carhartt warrenty! My new pair arrived today and they feel great so I'm hoping and praying that the soles on this pair will hold up because these really are great boots and I will remember the warrenty this time, but hope it wont be needed

last longer than most
I had these boots for just over a year before the leather pulled away from the soles. They lasted longer than other boots but still failed in same area. Wore these boots everyday driving milk truck and loading milk at farm
