Awesome hat if you have a size 7.5+ head...
I really like the style of the hat, it's made from what seems like the same duck material the pants are made of. My problem with it is the size. I should've read the other reviews before ordering it. The tall boxy fit absolutely dwarfs my size 7 head. I wish they made it in a small and a large, labeling the current version a "large" and making a version for those of us with smaller heads and calling it a "small" are you listening Carhartt?

Traditional hat
New low crown curved bill hats are nice. I grew up with A high crown flat bill good old tried and TRUE plastic size adjuster that never fails to fit right. You guys know bend the heavy duty bill A little up on one side and bent over on the other up in the middle and sure enough its fit perfect to your head. Also it has your special look. So I say its nice to offer new products but keep these good old tried and true high crown flat bill classics around as many of us will only wear these proven styles and with carhartt canvas and sweat wicking inside band you will never be unhappy with this great Ashland Cap. Its A proven style.

My head is huge. Massive. A sight to behold...
I'm not a big dude. My head would lead you be believe otherwise. That being said, I have a hard time finding a good cap to wear.
I'm not a sports fan and finding something to put on my head that is a brand that I'd choose to represent me is not an easy task. I was in the local Carhartt store and found this one.
Its sturdy (the fabric is tough), looks good, fits well enough, and the bill is nice and flat. I like to form it myself into a nice curve and am not a huge fan of caps that come already worn in.
My only gripe, is that the front of the cap is a little high on top. So, the peak is sorta big even for my dome.
My daughter (and biggest critic at 12 yrs old) said the hat looked to big, but I should get it anyway because we never find anything "...big enough for that head of yours, Dad."
So overall its a win!

Big hat for a bit head
I love this particular item because I have huge head! All other hats seem to not fit like I want. I can wear it forward or backwards and still have comfort. Company logo to represent wherever you go! Thoroughly impressed with this product!

black good brown bad
The black one looked dope, fit how you would expect. The brown one is a bad color for my skin complexion(white). Also the brown one I received ran big, looked really farmer Bob. Tried to return the brown one, customer service said they would send a return shipment label, never received it, so I gave it to a friend- who never wore it because the sizing looked wonky af. That being said the black one protected my head and soaked up diesel engine oil and grime from the locomotives I worked on. Will probably buy black one again sometime soon.

Excellent
I just bought this, I had been thinking about it. I love the fact that it is the same material as my B11 pants. I am sure it will last forever. I do with they would make it with a Velcro closure like the other one, I will probably ask my wife to sew in a piece of Canvas to get rid of the plastic adjuster.

My go to hat
I have bought many of these hat in all colors. They are my favorite hats. I prefer to add a slight bend to the bill of these and they fit great.

Perfect Hat For A Guy Like Me
Bought this hat in the start of summer this year. No complaints about it at all. Keeps the sweat and sun out of my eyes. Could not ask for much more in the heat and sun.

Very durable
I have the brown one and this one and I got them last year as well and the black one just seems a little bit deeper than the other one and it’s noticeable when you wear it it’s almost like your head looks tall LOL these hats are very very durable and can get wet without losing their shape in the rain but I wish the black one wasn’t as tall as it is it’s just a bit much

Fat Head Husband
I bought this for my husband who has a rather large head. It was a little snug but after a haircut he said it felt a little more comfortable. I think after wearing it for awhile it will stretch to fit his fat head!

Best hat that i have found in years!
I this is my 5th hat purchased. i have 3 blk, 1 grey and now this ugly tan one.
Stick to the black or grey colors! Besides not liking the classic Carhartt color in person this model of hat is a perfect flatbill that is suoer heavy duty and holds its shape! I wish they made them in a Flex-Fit instead of Snap-Back!

not AS big as some commenters say..but awesome hat
not AS big as the other comments had mentioned. I have a SUPER large head, and even with this hat being "bigger than other's", I still can only comfortably wear it on the last snap. (this is only reason I did not give 5 overall stars) otherwise , VERY good quality hat that I would suggest for anyone without a freakishly large head..(like myself)

Needs a thicker sweat band
Love this hat. It was a bit too big, but all flat brim hats are too big for my small head. The durability of the fabric and the more boxy look are two of the things that I really liked about this cap. The only thing I didn't like was that the sweat band was pretty thin and the cloth were it was sewn together was easily felt through the band. And it made it feel bad on my forehead. So I had to sew an extra band on it. But even with all that I still Love this cap. It was also my very first Carhartt item, it will not be my last.

Sad customer
I received orange hats when I ordered black ones. I double and triple checked the order before it was sent out and still got the wrong thing, I'm pretty bummed about it because now I have to go through the pain in the ass of shipping them back and re-ordering new ones
