When your job requires exposure to dangerous arcs and flames, protect yourself with this men's flame-resistant jacket. It's made of lightweight, water-resistant fabric that gives you the warmth and durability of sandstone duck without the bulk. Stretch panels on the back, elbows, and sides let you maneuver into tight spots.
- Mighty Back bi-swing between shoulders for instant recovery
- Flex Elbow for less restriction
- Freedom Gusset under the arms
- Stand up collar
- Left chest map pocket with zipper closure
- Two lower front pockets with zipper closures
- Left sleeve upper arm pocket
- Two inside patch pockets with FR hook and loop closures
- Vislon front zipper with Nomex FR zipper tape plus inside protective flap
- Adjustable cuffs with ergonomic shaped sleeve hem
- Triple stitched main seams
- Back Length: Large Regular- 29 inches, Large Tall- 31 inches
- Carhartt FR and NFPA 2112/CAT 2 labels sewn on lower front
- Meets the performance requirements of NFPA 70E and is UL Classified to NFPA 2112

- 8.5 Ounce, FR Quick Duck, 88% Cotton, 12% Nylon with Rain Defender durable water repellent
Product Care
- Machine wash warm Max 140F/60C. Do not bleach. Do not use hydrogen perox ide. Tumble dry low. Iron low heat. Do not use fabric softeners. Do not starch. May be dry cleaned.

Great jacket!
Would definitely recommend this jacket. The cut and style allow for freedom of movement. Plenty of pockets, including a handy tool pocket on the outside of the arm. With only a twill lining this jacket is not too warm to wear during physical activity. One recommendation would be for Carhartt to replace the twill lining with a smoother fabric for easier layering over flannel, etc.

Poor quality zipper
The style, fit and weight of this coat is perfect for working outside at my barn in cool weather. Unfortunately the zipper is junk. I have purchased two of these coats in the past two years and the zipper has failed on both on them. I called Carhartt and their solution is to send me a new zipper so I can then take it to a local seamstress and pay them to replace it. The other option is to send it back to Carhartt for them to inspect it and wait 3-4 weeks for a solution. Not pleased at all. This is an expensive coat and I would expect it to have a quality zipper that lasts more than one year and that Carhartt would stand behind their product and replace my nearly brand new coat with a broken zipper.

Easy Movement and Comfort
This is the nicest jacket I have ever worn. It's stitched for ease of motion. so it's super easy to crawl around and reach into tight spots. I can work ten hours and not even notice I have it on. The liningis comfortabale and like the the thickness and feel of a cotton shirt. Lots of compliments from the ladies as well.

It didn’t look like it did in the photo on the website. It looked like it was made out of a synthetic material, which it is. It was wrinkle-free looking and not rugged looking like in the photos from Carhartt. We returned it. However, we did like the cut. It would be great to make this coat in your canvas material.

It's a very nice coat fits and wears well. I am able to move like I am wearing a sweatshirt. I would like to see reflective strips because my company requires it so now I have to wear a reflective vest so the pockets are not accessible otherwise it is a very nice coat.
