I ordered 3 pairs of the dark khaki color. I have to say they aren’t very dark, and are almost a goldish color. I love the material on these pants though. They hold up to scrapes and scuffs, while being flexible for good movement. I wear a 40x32 normally. My first 2 pairs of these pants I got that exact size and they are right on the line of perfect and snug. I went up too a 42x32 on the dark khaki and they give plenty of room. Would definitely recommend to any one!

Rare find 28 inch inseam
I jumped on the 28 inch inseam and ordered 3 pair - 38x28 - the inseam is true but the waist is more like a 40 plus - even tried to shrink one pair in hot wash/hot dryer since they are 98% cotton - no luck - returning the two other pair - please offer more 28" inseam sizes.

Light and Slim FTW
These are a truer straight leg fit than the other Carhartt pants that fit much looser. That's why some of these reviewers complain of the fit - they actually fit like a straight leg pant not a relaxed fit pant. They are well made but the lighter material won't be as tough as the thicker materials Carhartt uses. The colors are the only drawback. Dark tan looks great like a medium khaki but the Peat I tried looked like black pajamas. It would be nice to see at least a navy version - maybe even a darker khaki or brownish shade. If you work around dirt these pants show it. Try them out especially if you need something cooler in hot temps. This cut would be great in other fabrics especially something like a 10-12oz fabric.

Pants are great, I work as a HVAC service technician. These are perfect for the summer, light enough to help keep cool, and tough enough for the job. Very comfortable to work in, stylish enough when meeting with customers. Run slimmer then other lines, which is perfect for me since I like my clothes fitted. Wish they had more color options.

Stretch with durability
These pants feel lighter and they stretch more then the traditional carhartt pant material. I wear them in the field as an electrician and since buying a pair ive purchased four more pairs. Great pants all around.

Too long
Good fit in the waist but too long in the inseam. I have multiple pairs of Carhartts all 34 length and they are all over the board on actual length with these have been the longest. Unfortunately I will have to have them altered because I am afraid if I return them for the next shorter size they will be too short. I have found Carhartts sizing to be very inconsistent.

Watch country of ORGIN!
I have 4 pair of these pants. 2 made in china, 2 in nicaragua. The pairs from China fit me perfect, the exact same pairs from Nicaragua are at least 2 inches larger in the waist band. Other wise the pants are great. Light and comfortable, not baggy like other Carhartt pants. The pairs from Nicaragua are going back, hopefully I can find some from China, otherwise I will find something else.

Ok but could be great.
I was a massive fan of the 100634 the Ripstop pant but now they’ve been discontinued I thought I’d give these a try.
They’re ok the flex is nice. I like the secured aspect of the cell phone pocket other than that it’s a fairly standard pair of carhartt pants which is good.
I measured my waist at 38.5 inches before buying and they are super loose. I can cope with this but it’s not ideal.
Carhartt - Wip give clothing tables with exact measurements if Carhartt did this it would greatly assist with getting correct sizes. I think given the prevalence of vanity sizing and the different heights at which trousers are worn fits true to size is not that helpful.
There are loose threads inside the back pocket where the material ends again ok but not ideal.
The hip pockets seem quite shallow I know the cut of the pocket is different but with bigger phones and more EDC a deeper pocket would be better.
If stretch is a must these will be for you but I will probably wait to see what comes out in the next couple of collections before I settle upon my go to pants of the future. Ripstop was the perfect weight for me and I’m sad to see that it has gone from the range as a basic five pocket pant.
These would probably grade as more than three stars but given the ratings I have given other Carhartt products in the past I don’t think I can rate these higher.

This is one hell of a pant!
Listen, I work as a commercial construction superintendent and these are the most comfortable pants I've ever worn on a job site. Not nearly as rugged or durable as some of the other Carhart offerings, but oh buddy are they comfortable. Also, they look great. Get some.

Great casual pants
Great pair of pants for cooler weather. Fit well, not baggy. Quality construction. After all, they are Carhartt. Nice phone pocket and the little change pocket is great for your car fob. Cut to ride on your waist, not below like jeans. Don't fall down when you have a little belly. Relaxed fit is really regular fit so no baggy upper legs. Highly recommended.

Disappointed
I ordered this style only because the B299 was discontinued. The B299 was durable and had a great fit. These are unusually long with the same 32" inseam that I have been wearing for a couple of years. They also feel and look longer/looser in the crotch. I tried washing in a long hot cycle and drying in high temperature but it did not significantly improve the fit. Also, the fabric comes out of the dryer more wrinkled than the B299. Too early to judge durability. I will not order these again. Bring back the B299.

A Poor Experience with Sizing
I own the two pair of the same style pant but in the ‘shorts’ version and they are terrific; very comfortable and a great fit. However, when I ordered two pair of the pant style, one of the colors fit extremely tight in the waist and the other color was cut about two inches too long in length. Poor quality control is my review. I found these on the carrhart site, but if I could find them in a store I would hope for better luck with trying other sizes.

I just received these. They look great, but run bigger than the Rugged Work Khaki Pant that I bought at the same time (both relaxed fit 33/32). I weigh about 170 and 6 ft. Both fit, but felt like a significant difference in fit.

Best of THE BEST
FOR THE NEWBIES OF CARHARTT....These are the pants that fit normal, they are not rough or hard that take breaking into necessary. If you wash these separately in fabric softener it makes them the most comfortable, hard working, sturdy pants you'll ever own. I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST them to anyone !

Work Pants
I really like these light weight pants for summer wear. They do not have an annoying hammer loop which catches on everything. The other short fall is the very short zipper length. Carhartt has a winner here, but could improve the zipper length and make more work pants free of the hammer loop.

New pants great fit
Bought these after looking for weeks to find some comfortable pants that are also good enough to wear to casual business events. These more than meetvthat task. Gave 4 stars for durability only because they are still relatively new, and durability is a long term thing, but so far I have no doubt these will hold up.

i needed a dresser carhart pant and these were perfect
I LOVE CARHARTT PANTS BUT I NEEDED SOMETHING LITTLE DRESSER WITHOUT THE LOOP ON THE LEG BUT WITH THE POCKET ON THE LEG. I FOUND THE FIRST PAIR AT A LOCAL RETAILER AND THEY WERE PERFECT. I NOW HAVE 3 PAIR AND I LOVE THEM THANKS CARHARTT.

Super Comfortable!
These pants are Super Comfy. Material is medium weight so they are great for summer heat. Nice to have that stretch in the material if you squat a lot. Side pocket is a bonus. They run true to size. Buy them you will love them!!

I love the pants but really wish they came in one inch inseam increments instead of two. 30" is too short when I sit down & the pants legs ride up. 32" is a little too long and I end up walking on the cuff. Its frustrating and now I'm looking for someone to hem them up an inch since I purchased the 32" inseams.

Great Pants if they fit
I've bought three pair of theses in various colours but the same size over the last two-ish years. They are not all the same size so try them on before you pick them up. The pair I've had the longest have some fraying on the cover over the zipper, but it doesn't look obvious or bad.
The two pair that do fit are amazing, but a little off of one another. I wear them all the time for dressier casual events or when just ramming around the house.

Current Favorite
I really like these pants. Comfortable and flexible. Lightweight. My girlfriend likes the way they look. I do a lot of walking, bending, squatting, and kneeling on the job and these are so far the best for my needs.
I'd love for them to come in more dark colors. Cedar, navy, and black would be awesome.
Be aware that they might there might be differences in the overall fit when trying different lengths. I found that there was a pretty large difference in how the pants fit when shifting between a 30 and 32 inch inseam. When on my body they both looked the same length but the 32 fit much better.

Great fit, and look good for my work environment. Has to be washrd in cold, gotta be careful with washing.

I love these pants
I am a high school teacher, nothing rugged about my job, but these pants are perfect. They are not too heavy, not too light, they stretch just enough. Take them right out of the dryer and they are ready to wear. I even get compliments on how nice they look!

Better than Deluth
I used to buy firehose-flex pants from a different company but they wear out way too soon especially for what I was paying, about $65.00.
I can buy the same type of pants from Carhartt for about 1/2 the cost and so far, they have lasted twice as long; hope these are available in microfleece lining too.

Pants were not true to size. Went to a retailer and got the same pants at the same size that fit far better, and it was as though they were a different size entirely. Not sure what happened with these specifically. Ill just buy in store.

My favorite Carhartt pant!
By and far my favorite Carhartt pant. These are flexible for work for bending and stretching yet strong and durable to avoid abrasion. They are a great lightweight option for working hard, everyday jobs at home, or a nice casual attire option for off-work hours. I have three colors and look forward to purchasing others as they become available!

Good for bike riding
The cell phone pocket is perfect. For years I bought the B159 model (light weight fabric) and cut off the hammer loops that I don't use. These Rigby pants have the perfect cell phone pocket, no hammer loops, and some tiny amount of stretchable thread woven into them. They look like pure cotton, fit a bit slimmer than the B159 & feel great on the bike.

Great, almost in love.
Great pair of work pants, not for heavy work but flexible when working. Thin and light which is perfect for the work I'm in. Always in and out with light to some heavy construction work. Also not so baggy, which is better when walking and moving around.

Good light duty pant
They seem good as office/town pants. Pretty thin material so they definitely wouldn't hold up as work pants (rugged? Nope). But I like the way they fit. A rare Carhartt style that's made in my waist size (29), no hammer loop, and not ridiculously baggy clown pants like a lot of Carhartts. So I like them!

Runs very small and won't flex much.
Was excited to get a pair of these for my birthday but the flex isn't very good and the fit is very much a skinny cut. I'm not a huge man, but these run very small and this aren't comfortable. The side pockets are designed in a way that makes loose change fall out of them very easy when you are sitting down. This is the first pair of Carhartt pants that I've bought in 2 decades and was expecting a lot better pant.

Rugged flex rigby
Very comfortable pants! Very soft material and they are not kidding about the “flex”! The material looks like my heavy cotton carhartt work pants but these are much softer and they DO stretch/flex when you squat or bend! Very nice material and overall excellent pants! Recommend these pants

Great, but...
Very, very, very comfortable, but..., they rip very easily. Only worn mine twice, and they are ripping. I'm only a dump truck driver so it's not like I'm hard on them at all.

Gotta have 3 more pairs
I bought two pairs of these pants at Kroger’s in Lexington KY, I had just finished work out of town and my luggage was late so I bought two pair and they are now my go two pants. The pants have held up well and I have put them to the test. They hold shape well, never need to iron them and they flex well. Best set of pants I have had in a long time.

Sturdy Pants but don't overwork them
I purchased these pants many weeks ago and as they're black, sleek, and utile, I wear them almost every weekend when I work at the theatre.
Overall they've held up quite well. There are no loose seams, the belt loops are very sturdy, and the fabric is great. However, be warned that these pants are not made of stone and it is pragmatic to get more then one pair of these as, overtime there was a bit of color fade/whiteness that appeared in the left knee but this was most likely due to an error on my part in washing them.

Top Notch
I purchased 3 pair. No any defects nor shortcomings in any. Good material, very good quality of stitching.Perfect fit and true to size. Very comfortable. I definitely recommend and will buy a couple more to replace my uniform pants at work, which is actually free for me but I'd rather pay for the Carhartt and feel much better all day long.

I recently bought my first pair of Carhartt pants. They shrank TWO FULL INCHES the first time I washed them. Plan for that if you purchase this brand.

good solid pants
I bought two pair and would have bought three but one color was discontinued in my size. I like the look and feel of them and noticed a nifty pocket within the front pocket. They're pretty new but so far I'm very happy with the quality and my purchase.

Don't like the wrinkles, but like the fit and feel.
I like the look and the durability. However, they come out of the washer and dryer really wrinkled - much more that the Carhartt Twill pants I like and wear all the time. Any suggestions on how to minimize the wrinkles?

Non-standard fit
They are perfect for my needs, but the size is erratic between colors. The navy 34x34 was perfect the khaki 34x34 was too slim across the front and around the waist. I'm mostly interested in Khaki, so I am trying again with a bigger waist size.

Best Pants I have owned so far
I own 4 pairs of these paints so far, and they are all fantastic. They are very durable and even more comfortable, and they look very stylish in my opinion as well. I wear them for my landscaping job, and they have held up to some pretty serious abuse as you can imagine. The phone pocket is probably my favorite part of these pants because you don't have to worry about it falling out of your side pockets and it is still very accessible while sitting down. It can take a few days to get used to, but once you do you will love it! In terms of fit, get what size you wear for every other pair of pants, they will fit great. The zipper is very smooth and durable, and the stitching seems to be holding up well on the seams and pockets, with only a very small amount of fraying on the bottom of the fly. Note: I have only owned these pants for about 5-6 months so far, so I unfortunately can't speak to the durability over time. I can say, however, that once these wear out, if they even do, I will be ordering more. 6 out of 5 stars from me.

Great Pants for everyday use
I purchased a pair 6 weeks ago. I wear a 36x34 and decided to get a 38 x 34 incase I have to wear base layers underneath. The Pants fit a bit bigger than normal 38's so be sure to know your waist size. other than that , I have been using these pants for everyday work and a times sleep in them and they are holding up. Best pair I have bought in a while!! super comfortable!

Solid pair of work pants.
Pants are great alternative to jeans, they stretch and move with you. Durability isn't quite as good as the non-stretch traditional fabric but it tradeoff for the extra range of motion is worth it.

Durable and Classic
I purchased these for my tall and skinny husband. His pants had been wearing out so quickly that we weren’t sure he would be able to find a pair that would actually last a long time (more than six months) and still look clean and classic for his casual work environment. Thankfully, these pants are great for what he needs and the durability is impeccable. These purchased just under six months ago and there isn’t a sign of any damage or wear and tear that will require a new purchase.

New favorite pants!
I bought four pairs of these pants (one of each color) available after seeing them on the Carhartt website and reading the product description. I have been looking for pants like these for the past couple of years to replace pants from a competitor that have been discontinued. They look really good, fit great, and are very comfortable. I wear them to work but I will probably end up wearing the all the time. I plan to buy a few more pairs.

I tried this on & just felt comfortable, the other carhartt pants are to baggy for me ,theses are perfect im hoping they dont shrink,& i wish they had other colors like blue or black in this style,cmon carhartt do different colors,i got 36x30 & fits perfect other carhartt fit to tight,i know im not a 38 because my other brand pants are 36x30 aswell lol.

Ive been searching for a quality work pant for some time, hopefully ive found it. Ive got an awkward shape and i constantly bend/lift/move daily and these pants couldn't fit any better.

Good pants, thin material.
Tried them on in store, and then bought 3 pairs size
33x34. They fit great, and not too tight. I dont like pants that squeeze my legs and these dont. The material is thinner than most other pants so wearing these for warmer weather is what I will do, how they will hold up with later abuse is another question but I will just have to wait for that.

Love them!
These are hands down my favorite pants to wear. So much so that I think my wife is starting to dislike them because I am always khaki from the waist down. Haha. Truly, they are the best wearing pant Iâ??ve even had. Comfortable all day long. My only bone to pick is that I bought a pair that was 33â??x34â??, which fit perfectly, and after drying it, they were about 33â??x32â??. So then I bought a couple pair of 36â?? Inseam, assuming theyâ??d shrink to the perfect length and, oddly enough, they didnâ??t. So now I have super long pants. But I love them and wear them almost exclusively. Thanks, Carhartt.

Way too big.
I carefully measured my waist as instructed, 38". Checked with Live Chat at Carhartt. They said, "Order 38 waist. They run true to size." Not true. These pants are at least 2-inches too big in the waist. Not only that but I paid over $12 to ship them back to Carhartt! I'm not a happy customer.

Change is Good
My go to pants for years have been the relaxed fit washed duck dungarees. I purchased these Rigby's with the thought flex is good. WOW! They are like wearing pajamas.....the most comfortable pants I own now. I own one of pair of "ballroom" Duluth's that are not nearly as comfy as these. Put a black and and an army green in the lineup and I will extend my wardrobe.

Darn near perfect all around pants!
I just purchased a pair of these pants at a local store and I'm so pleased with them that I am going to buy a few more. Although, I haven't had them long enough to rate their durability, I've given them the benefit of the doubt based on all the other Carharrt items I've worn over the past 25 years. Sizing these days seems to be all over the place when it comes to buying clothes. I have pants from various manufactures with waist sizes running from 32 up to 35 that more or less fit my waist. Normally, a 33 inch waist is about right, but often the legs and seat are too baggy in that size. These are 32 waist and the over all fit is perfect for me. Alas, I have a short inseam, so these 30" length pants ( shortest available) will have to be taken up a bit. As a long time buyer of Carharrt clothing I've always been pleased with their quality and durability, but I always wished they'd come up with some pants that were a little less beefy and suited to a more casual look. They've done it with these.

My husband is an electrician and swears by these pants. He loves them and they have held up really well. He has had them for over a year and there is no rips, stains or shrinkage.

No complaints
Pants fit well. I ordered an inseam longer than what I usually wear to accommodate for my work boots. Nice pair of work pants if you’re not doing anything too rough like trade work. Also, they look nice to wear outside of the workplace. I will be purchasing more of these pants in a different color one day! Great work.

Comfortable pants
These are comfortable pants right out of the package. The fit is a little slimmer than the normal work pants but they're not tight and there is enough flex so they never restrict motion. The pants aren't the toughest. Mine started showing signs of abrasions around the knees pretty quickly. The cell phone pocket is ok as long as you're standing, but my phone slips out when I sit or crouch. honestly, the pants would be better without that extra pocket. All in all, they're great for light duty.

Poor fit on me, no fault of Carhartt's.
My favorite pants are the model B290. Unfortunately they are not made in Gray. I have tried other styles but none of them look good, on me. That is no fault of Carhartt. I wish the model B290 was offered in more colors than black, blue, and tan.

Runs large and wrinkle very easily
I was looking for a work/business casual pants. They look great until you wear them for an hour. They wrinkle up after just a short time of wearing them and end up looking very unprofessional. I bought 4 pair of pants and am going to try and return them as they were not what I was looking for in the end.

Very nice!
Very nice! Fits well. Perfect size. They wrinkle up so fast though! You have to iron them right out of the dryer. 34x34 true to size

Nice fit
The pants are a great fit and look really good. It is hard to find relaxed fit that is not too baggy in the rear, but these look really nice. They are a nice fabric for working in also. They are holding up well so far.
