Best Jacket I've ever owned...period.
Easily the best jacket I've ever owned. It fits like a glove and is super durable. I have washed it and it expected it to fit differently....NOPE. Fits the exact same way out of the dryer every time. I've worn this in the Fall all the way into the dead of winter and it keeps me warm and dry in any season. Highly recommend.

Great replacement for my original Carhartt
This thing is super warm and the wind can't even cut through it. The gussets alone make the jacket worth the money. Now it doesn't feel like there's a midget trying to give me a bear hug whenever I'm working outside. Runs a tad large but mostly in the sleeves.

Love this jacket!

I owned a Carhart jacket 25 years ago that I gave to my brother because there was no freedom of movement in the shoulders/arms. I always like the look of the Carhart jacket so decided to try this one when I saw it. What a difference, I think it will be my favorite jacket. Fit's great!

HD Jacket with a Wimpy Zipper
I got this jacket because it is heavy duty and comes with a hoodie. After a few days of wearing it, I cannot get the zipper started without looking down to see what I'm doing. The zipper is to small and is fussy to get locked in to zip up. This jacked really needs a big manly zipper, especially if you're wearing gloves. I would of gave it 5 stars if it wasn't for the wimpy zipper. Besides that, it's a nice HD warm jacket.

Great Jacket
I have used this jacket for 3 winters now and my only issue with it is that I have been too warm! I usually work 9-10 hour days and this has stood up to every test its been through. I would definitely recommend this jacket, it is well worth the money

Great Winter Jacket
Love the full swing features on this jacket. Great band around waist and wrists to keep you warm. Nice big hood to cover entire head and keep elements out. Super warm and cozy!

I washed it one time *using the instructions on the tag* to try and loosen the awfully firm zipper area and it came out looking like an acid washed jean jacket from the 80s. This is touted as a comfortable jacket, but it rides up my back at every turn and not even looks like crap.

NOPE. Full-Swing yourself away from this one.

One of my fave styles but wish it was warmer
This was the 2nd coat i bought since the c003 didn’t work out for me. I loved everything about this coat especially the full swing. It’s so easy to move in. It kept me dry as well but i wish it was just a lil warmer. It has fleece in it - like a lightweight sweatshirt fleece. I was thinking this coat was for the bitter cold temps but it’s really for the 40’s.
I ended up returning this one (#103371) b/c i found it really hard to drive w/ the bulk of the hood behind my head. Even w/ it on my head, it was just not comfy for me. I was gonna return it and get the #103370 (w/o the hood) but at that time i was also looking at the wj141 - trying to find something in women’s that worked for me. So i returned this one and just kept researching carhartt.
I will say though that if a sale comes up on the 103370, i would order it - it was a nice coat, but more for milder temps.

This jacket will make you feel powerful.
Not only is the fit and quality superb, the movement is so fluid my arms feel rocket powered. 5 stars for everything but comfort and that's because I like oversized hoods. Haven't had to use it much yet but this good feels a little small. Still highly recommend this jacket.

Typical, Solid Carhartt Product
I have owned the jacket for about 3 weeks and am pleased. Durability rating is based on other Carhartt jackets and coats I've owned (and still own) over the years. 4 stars for appearance only because the newer versions are "washed" instead of "sandstone" duck. No worries - it'll break in just fine!

Just got it, but very impressed
I don't care for reviews people write as soon as they open a package, but there are some surprising things about this jacket that cause me to write just such an "inexperienced" review.
First is what I consider to be amazing comfort and freedom of movement in this "full swing" design. I'm nearly 60 and simply have never had a coat that didn't bind or pull at all. Except for its significant weight, this thing is like wearing a long-sleeved T-shirt. I am astonished that I can reach across my body or overhead without any constraints at all. That's no exaggeration. It's all the more impressive because I expected to need a 2XLT, but ordered XLT on the advice of online chat. XLT is plenty roomy and the sleeves still easily reach my wrists with arms overhead (I wear a 36-37 shirt sleeve, am 6' 2", 250 lbs.).
Secondly, this fabric is surprisingly soft right out of the box. This jacket is *comfortable* right now.
Thirdly, though this is a warm weekend, the jacket seems warmer than I expected based on its description. I look forward to cooler weather next week to try it out.
I have a number of coats and jackets from an old, established retailer in the far, far northeast US. They're great coats for more dressy use, they wear well, but they tend to run small (and get smaller as time passes and costs rise). Not so with my new Carhartts; plenty of room in the same advertised size.
So my first impression is: GREAT!

Comfortable, warm and fits just right.
Tried out this jacket at my local carhartt store and felt like I finally found a proper jacket that didn't limit mobility and was super warm. I definitely don't need to layer as much with this one, especially with the fleece lining. The sleeve cuffs (outer sleeve, not the actual stretchable cuffs themselves) are a bit a wide and make placing your hands in the pockets seem a bit weird (maybe it's just my OCD) but other than that, this jacket is perfect. The hood's fantastic, the drawstrings for the collar are great and it's durable as hell. I've already worn this through snow, rain, and sleet, worked outside in it, and it kept me dry and warm.

Tough and Durable
This is a super tough and durable jacket. It is perfect for me being in construction in the fall and spring weather. I wear this jacket rain or shine and it is great at keeping me dry and shielded from the harsh East Tennessee winds.
